With Clement gone it’ll be interesting to see how Dessers gets on. It’s no secret I don’t think Clement was his biggest admirer from their time together at club Brugge. Second half tonight he looked unplayable at times. Scored 2 & set up another with a superb touch to Diomande. If Barry Ferguson gets more from Dessers than Clement did it will prove a point or two to some people

We shall need to see how all of this pans out over the next few weeks. I suspect to begin with there will be a bit of a lift but looking ahead to next season and the CLQ’s I begin to wonder. Whoever is manager next season needs a much better preseason than we’ve had last 2 seasons. If BF & Co get binned at the end of this season it doesn’t leave much time for another new manager and his staff to get settled in. I’m not a great believer in interim managers. Once the decision has been made to get rid off a manager I believe his replacement should be identified & brought in ASAP

To me there are 3 observations about this Rangers team:- 1) no settled CB pairing 2) kent/sima not replaced wide left( Hagi/ Bajrami both not natural wide left players) 3) strikers/CF’s too static when ball being delivered into penalty box. Need more movement upfront

You imply Dessers got no service but when the ball is being put into the box he never seems to makes runs i.e. anticipate. He is static.

What disappointed me today was the way Nsiala got bullied at both of their goals. Don’t think Niko Katic ( who wanted a return last month)would have been bullied like that. Just sayin’……😋

Last summer there was supposedly three main transfer targets and we got none of them. One was Cordoba now at Norwich , one was Joan Jordan but no idea who the other was. When that happens it’s not exactly a good sign for the season ahead.

Pedro only got one transfer window remember. And he did sign Morelos and Ryan Jack. He was maybe unlucky Bruno Alves was injured but we’ll never know. Sacking him then putting in Murty back in as caretaker was more madness from the board

What happens if we get a ‘caretaker’ and he’s worse than clement? any names you can think of who’d want to be the caretaker? personally I don’t think caretakers are a good idea

The worst Rangers team I have ever seen was in 1986 before sourness took over. Finished 4th in the league IIRC. This current team might be bad but not that bad

Clements problem is he badly misjudged the dross he inherited

It looks like the end might not be far away for Clement but it’s fanciful to think we’re going to get a new manager who’ll get more out of this group of mediocre players most of whom are contracted beyond this season and will also have very little funds to bring in better quality players

Timz & media won’t like this if potential good news for Rangers. I’m sure Liewell will have summoned his generals( or should that be genitals) & told them in no uncertain terms what he expects from them. Dumbcaster & MacLennan at the sPFL, Mulraney and his gang at the SFA and the numerous mhedia puppets. Watch the first Rangers goal from yesterday again ( the first o.g.) Hagi gets into a great position to put a delivery into the 6 yard box but where is the Rangers striker? There is no Rangers player in the 6 yard box This has been a recurring problem for me this season. Good deliveries into the penalty box and the Rangers striker(s) posted missing. Surely the manager & his staff can see this? My view has always been we need 2 strikers as we’re not good enough to with just the one. Probably Dessers up top and Igamane in a free role behind
