One wonders what happened hat supposed £70m in the bank is for? If it exists at all. Maybe the PQ gang hut could ask

Looks like Liewell back in charge at ra Styedome. What does CEO Nicholson the George Roper lookalike do? Maybe the PQ gang hut could look into this

No mention of Brenda in ‘how the Scots and Irish changed English football’ ? surely someone who’s managed three EPL clubs would have at least got a mention? 😳 maybe Peter’s keeping a tight rein on things if all not well again in the east end if weekends rumours were anything to go by 🤓

Jurgen Klopp to leave Liverpool at end of season

His replacement? just watch how Liverpool (& all EPL clubs for that matter) don’t even consider Gareth Southgate -
Match in Belgium To Be Replayed: VAR Error
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
Can we replay our 2 league games against the yahoos this season? Roofe’s goal should never have been disallowed in a million years in the first game & as well as the penalty in the second game how bug eyes their RB never got a second yellow was unbelievable -

Delighted to get the 3 points & it’s good to see a Rangers manager prepared to make changes if he believes players aren’t contributing as he did at HT today. -
Winter Training Camp | [FT] Rangers 2 - 2 Copenhagen

Decent opposition indeed. FC Copenhagen are in the last 16 of the CL playing Man City. Maybe 2-2 not too bad although the 2 goals we lost were woeful -

I’m genuinely concerned about what we’ve got up front at the moment not just today -
Surely only a matter of time before Scott ‘Lego muncher’ Brown joins the BBC PQ CSC gang hut. Mouthing about a GAP between them & us, he might care to reflect the massive assists they got from referees in both OF games this season.

Looking back on the OF game at the penalty handball there’s no doubt a VAR review should’ve been done(as opposed to a check) but whether offside would have ruled out the penalty is dubious because if the latest IFAB offside rules were applied (assuming the official were aware of them) Sima might not have been given offside as he never touched the ball or prevented the opponent from playing it. A bigger issue for me was why match referee Walsh didn’t give a second yellow card to yahoos RB Alistair Johnston.

A good reaction today following Saturday’s disappointment at the girodome which wasn’t all of our own making The two goals before halftime settled us despite Beaton awarding a penalty to Killie to please the mhedia. I dislike Beaton & have never forgiven him for the 3-2 game at ibrox in 2017 against hibz. I thought we were better second half & should have got more goals. I hope this doesn’t come back to haunt us later in the season. one final wee point about McAusland. Is it just me or does he cut inside too often? Go outside, head for the byline and put a ball into the six yard box

Match Thread [FT] Celtic 2 - 1 Rangers (Tavernier 88)

When did Celtic last get a player sent off against Rangers at Celtic park? Anyone know? They should have had 2 sent off on Saturday -

For the offside to have been investigated there would need to have been a VAR review(play halted, referee puts finger to ear) as opposed to a VAR check( background check by VAR ref play not stopped) In this instance I believe all there was only a VAR check which missed the handball. A VAR review (assuming it saw the handball) would maybe have meant lines drawn across the pitch from the 2nd last defender & sima using VAR’s Hawkeye as opposed to the SKY image we got midway thro the second half which was nothing more than a photo from a camera with thick lines drawn across the pitch from defender & sima Totally inconclusive -

It’s debatable if sima can be called offside if he doesn’t touch the ball what about the Dessers penalty? Bug eyes doesn’t touch the ball but brings him down. Penalty & a red card in my opinion -

In what way? do you think we got a fair deal from the officials on Saturday? -

Still doesn’t explain why it took half an hour to come up with the image purportedly showing sima offside when Lundstrum played the ball. were they doctoring the image to suit their agenda? Some suggestions sima wasn’t offside depending where /how the picture is taken -

Why did it take 30minutes for them to come up with the image showing sima offside? Normally this is done at the time of the incident in less than a minute. Something not right here. -

They effectively gave a decision and a reason for that decision then half an hour later come up with a different reason because they realised the original reason was incorrect. Unfortunately football(like all sports presumably)doesn’t work like that. It’s incompetence or corruption. Maybe both.
