  1. Nobody's fooling me. There isn't a modern footballer with an ounce of ambition who wouldn't jump ship once the EPL flashes it's knickers, especially with Rangers facing div1 or worse. I wont trust Green, twice bitten, thrice shy. The fact that so many do trust him and his only contribution of note was to see the company behind Rangers getting liquidated. I'll reserve judgement until he does something positive. Thus far, that's been the square root of fk all.
  2. So long Kyle.
  3. Is that 100% certain though? My understanding is that it's far from clear. Also, I am led to believe that Auchenhowie can only be used in it's present state, and certainly not have houses built on it, and Ibrox being a listed building has it's limited usage too. Anyway, thanks for the chat, better get back to work now
  4. At present, not a lot to be honest, we've been running at a £5m loss every year for about 20 years. Certainly not worth £20m.
  5. Where did I call for a boycott? Seems to be a trend with you putting the proverbial words in my mouth.
  6. Well, as a non-paper reader, if you could let me know why Green felt that he should be recompensed with a 300% uplift on his original invesmtent? While I agree that his remuneration should reflect his time and effort, I don't see where he's due a £15m profit? I'm not saying that Green will defo asset strip, I just think that we should view ALL custodians with suspicion after what we went through.
  7. Scottish football is fucked, whatever way you look at it. Ever since the SPL ditched Sky to go with the BBC, the quality of the game up here has gotten worse year on year. The reason for this is that our top clubs can't compete with 2nd/3rd or 4th tier clubs in England, where once we used to wonder why a player would choose Cardiff over an Aberdeen, now Aberdeen can't compete with Darlington and Rangers can't compete with Crystal Palace! Now with the demise of the company behind Rangers, the subsequent punishments dished out and then the migration out of Scotland by many of our top players, further diluting the quality of player that play here, meaning we'll all be poorer for it. And if the Timothy thinks that his top stars will want to play in the most 1 sided league in Europe with no glamour of a Glasgow derby to look forward to, and regular ghapings in the Thursday Jug, then they're even more deluded than initially thought. No, the game's up for Scotland, the whole set-up needs liquidated and we all need to start again. It's broke and needs fixed. How? Fknose
  8. Is it. Glad I made you smile.
  9. Did I say that? No, you're putting words in my keyboard. Walter's reservations SHOULD be heeded by all Rangers fans, much like when Alistair Johnstone warned the Rangers support about the Shyster, Walter has no axe to grind, Green is in it for the quick buck, our hero's are leaving BECAUSE of him. I make no reference to you when I 'had a pop' at the blind loyalty afforded to the previous 2 custodians, are you always this paranoid? No, he sold their best players and was vocal in the fact that he didn't give a fuck what the fans said, which was my point in that he is going to sell the crown jewels for his own benefit. FFS, he's just bought the Club for £5m and when Walters consortium asked to buy it off him, he wants £20m, a 300% mark-up for a couple of months "work". If that doesn't slap sense into the "Blind Loyal" then God help them. Why did Green, who's a Yorkshireman BTW, want to buy Rangers FC, if not to Capitalise on the assets? There can be no other logical conclusion that can be sought. It's a get rich quick scheme for Green and his "20 Strong" consortium.
  10. Yes, let's go against what 'Rangers people' have told us then, let's disregard what Walter, Bomber, et al, have all told us, afterall, they were wrong about Whyte too Yes, all hail the great Phil Green, the darling of the Sheff Utd fans. Have you bought your season book yet, Mr Allan? Like the hundreds of others? Personally, I've not yet, and I won't until I know more of what Greens plans are. The blind loyalty that most fans afforded the previous 2 custodians is the reason why we're in the current predicament, I for one, won't be making the same mistake twice (that mistake being silent in my reservations)
  11. Whilst I had hoped that Naisy would've stayed, and the rest for that matter, I can't hear any grudges with him wanting to leave. It was/is probably Green's plans to cash in on anyone of value anyway, seeing as that's his 'Big Plan' ie. Make himself considerably richer in the immediate term. Naismith was probably my favourite player, so he goes with my best wishes. As for Green, he's got to go before we end up in the shite again - IMHO of course.

5 months too late. They should've hounded Fud and Felch from the moment they got in on Whyte's proviso, instead here we are been well and truly ghaped and don't even have a league to play in.
  14. It's up to Rangers fans to put the record straight, the Company behind Rangers FC was set up in 1899 and is set for liquidation, the 'Club' pre-dates the company, and will outlive the company.
  15. The guys are quite within their rights not to want to play in Div 3-2-1(?) for a guy they've never met and who, IMO, will rape the newco much like Murray did and sell it on for a huge profit. They owe Green fuck all. That is a 100% fact.
  16. Smells like bullshit to me.
  17. Why the SPL and why the SFA. In 10 years we'll be back moaning about shit competition, shit European results and shit quality, bemoaning that we've reached our peak, big fish small pond. I wish someone would do something that would excite me, do something that was 'outside the box'. God knows we need it. Instead we've been in a state of limbo for what seems like 5 years with no way out. Let's get back into the shitty SPL where everyone will hate us and we'll have the same retarded fans singing shitty songs and the mock outrage that follows. No wonder the Scottish youth are shunning Scottish football. Anyone know a good shrink?
  18. I find it hard to argue with the logic of punishments relating to Newco. After all, we've gained a sporting advantage from shedding anywhere between £50m-£100m worth of toxic debt.
  19. This 'put his money where his mouth is' isn't strictly true. He's borrowed money, just like Murray and just like Whyte.
  20. It is time for unity, but it's also time for a charm offensive from the club and fans. For too long, we've allowed this horrific attitude of 'no one likes us, we don't care' become an affliction of the club. Well, for me anyway, you don't win the 'war' if everyone hates you. All talk of boycotts etc just give the haters, within the club and from outside the club, ammunition to attack us when it comes to this current Newco predicament. Time to stop all the shit and look at the bigger picture. We need to be loved to win the war, we need to become the darling of Scottish football again, anyone who has seen the old pics of Dynamo Moscow coming to Scotland to see the Rangers, or the pics of Puskas and co at Ibrox with wee Willie Henderson, will realise just how far we've fallen. Rangers needs to become a byword for quality, dedication and tolerance. It's the only way forward.
  21. Well said Lee!
  22. Everything is done. New company, new contracts.
  23. No offence, but no 'owner' of Rangers should ever get the unwavering support of the fans ever again, after all, look where it has got us in the past. Murray duped 95% of the fans and Whyte duped 80% of the fans, now it seems that there is a groundswell of support for Green, his only contribution thus far being, he tried to do a CVA, and for me, he's in cahoots with Whyte and Fud & Felch. Never again should the hopes of so many rest on the shoulders of 1 man.
  24. That's Capitalism though. Deal with it or head off to Cuba.
  25. I've been banned off there 4 times now, seems I'm not insane enough.
