I just thought that today wasn't the day to give any credit or thanks to the media for anything they have done in the last 4 years. I accept Ians point about building bridges but would rather it was a private conversation across a table laying down some parameters eg cross this line and expect this consequence sort of thing..

If not that it would be something else.

you expect newspapers to love us?
no I expect newspapers to report news impartially and without favour or fear .

They've made alot more noise in Rangers favour more recently, I would say four years is pushing it. Is it still expected that Traynor's PR firm is going to be part of Rangers as it was for DK's build up to the EGM?
I hope so.
What im also looking forward to in that having Rangers men at Ibrox, is that they will more likely than we have had for a long time, fight against articles which are misleading and damaging to our club. Lots of other things to do on the list of priorities first, but thats something im fairly sure will be addressed.
at least make them work for our favour a bit more. lets face it the story is all about Rangers again and for first time in a while it's good for us.

It took a while but you found something to complain about today.
Only as long as it took the record to put this headline up on their site.. Why do we need to have a love in with them?

When the formalities were all over, new interim chairman Murray said: “I would personally like to take the opportunity to thank the Daily Record for its courageous journalism over the past four years – and officially confirm it is no longer banned from Rangers FC.”
Good for you I personally have nothing but disdain for the Record, and all Scottish journo's, but hey ho ..

Our u20's have just been beaten by Dunfermline and gubbed by Hibs 4-1. I would be stunned if Durrant does anything worthwhile with them.
Question is this. Are the u 20 results really important or should developing players ready for first team be the main goal?

What a roaster!!!!! Ashley the billionaire slightly preferred as he watches his revenues increase and our football team and prospects of getting out of this league heading straight down the shitter. If he is indeed a self made millionaire then he is more likely to operate in the MA mode.....

It was hardly a vintage year.

They must have fixed all the leaks . No pre- minutes gossip!!

I'm disappointed that he has weighed in with this pile of crap. I admire Ross Counties achievements and always had a soft spot for them. The fact is that Rangers are responsible and to blame for the mess they are in. However they are not responsible for the mess that Scottish football is in any more than its celtic fault because they are utter gash in europe ( only kidding it is their fault ..) now if the old spl had given rangers a leg up, forwarded them prize money rather than withheld it , found a way to keep them in the top league etc etc and they still fucked it up then they could have a go. Idiots..

Always amuses me when people blame the record for our issues.
Far far bigger issues to worry us than perceived bias.
Yep like a one man campaign to discredit Harry Vuckic??

Exactly. If AIM were so picky and even had the means or the will to police the "rules" then this mob would have been toast a long time ago.

The one who played 90 mins is supposed to be the pick of them is was rank rotten.
Can't agree with that gs. He scored a good goal and whilst some of his play was a bit slack at times he was always looking for the ball and trying to drive the team forward unlike his esteemed colleagues who prefer a sideways or backwards pass.. I think you are letting the circumstances involved in his being there cloud your judgement

A decent manager that can build a team (thank god that's what king is saying) won't need tens of millions. Fuck me but celtic are buying out dundee united, hardly out of sight albeit they are decent players.. Mcinnes has aberdeen competing and spent next to nothing...

Probably the best I have heard from king re future plans. If he can get control and runs the club properly with a good manager with realistic but ambitious plans then the money will just roll in as the fans return with money through the gate and willingness to invest . Thank god there is no talk of pumping 20mil into playing budget blah blah

Smith will be left out of the side and perhaps the squad too.
Is that from lambias or Is the rfb picking the team now lol

what a decision , who will he leave out
Pretty sure it won't be mculloch foster Smith law or Miller. ..

Don't see how. It's far better for the fans to know what has happened and for us to be told the truth by someone at the club than to be lied to as the directors continue to do.
As i said it is my opinion . Whatever you think was actually said KM has compldtely destroyed any lingering semblence of team unity at ibrox. As Rangers manager , and yes he is still taking the cash and by default should be carrying out his employers instruction, he has a duty to do the vey best to coach and motivate the team for the good of RANGERS not playing his little fucking games.

No one can make an arse of themselves if they are telling the truth.
That relies on the premise that he is actually telling the truth. I trust no one at the club as they have all proved themselves to be in it for themselves.

Ship of fools springs to mind...

I've balanced this up and my opinion is Mcdowel has just made a complete arse of himself over this.
