  1. good to see you come round on loan deals maybe hearts want to stop hibs getting promoted:p
  2. Was meaning hope the club hasnt fucked up! I never fuck up! lol I have no problem with being a realist i also try not to set my opinion on hopes or make believe. There is nothing to suggest we will spend more or be anymore successful in augusts window than we have been so far Developing a direct rivals youth will never sit with me as a good move neither will failing to build Again fiscal prudence would demand we make sure promotion is as close to definite as possible without spending more than we will recoup. We have not done that we have just been cheap. It is obviously harder to attract players of higher calibre to lower leagues but not impossible. I fail to see how we cannot find a purchase within our budget who is better than forrester or a 6 month loan of a hearts youth player. Are you seriously saying we cannot attract a player in a better deal than the six month loan of a hearts player gives? Every player gets the chance to prove himself, have yet to hear a player being booed as he walks onto the park for the first time. The stadium at game time is the time I show support not online discussing the appropriateness of signings or targets This is condemnation of the standard of player MW thinks appropriate for rangers and the clubs failure to properly value targets with gives us an actual chance of signing them again you mention our financial position. Can you share it? would love to know our transfer budget? Why if we cant afford talent better than that brought in did we refuse £500k from fans? We could afford better but failed. It is that simple. We are gambling on promotion without stacking the deck in our favour as far as we could with financial prudence still being met. We valued players ridiculously low, so low in fact we had zero chance of securing their services. That is not sensible or looking for value that is just getting it wrong. Plain and simple. Whoever evaluated the players expected cost was not working within the realms of reality
  3. think you may want to double check those stats a little closer.
  4. So you don't think we are signing the best players available to us! 5 points clear of very poor sides who should be miles behind our resources and finances, about to play a team who beat us comfortably last time. Lets hope we can turn that last result on its head as said i am finished on transfers my opinion is clear same as plenty of other bears. I have no doubt you would be cursing our transfer dealings this window up and down if it was the previous board in position and you would have been right to do so. The window before promotion and the last chance to push as hard as we can and we look like failing to bring in one starting 11 player. Fantastic way to build for the future, so much for no more short sighted signings! time will tell lets agree to hope we havn't fucked up big time.
  5. Rangers fans supporting the loaning of players from hearts as the best we can do What happened to the turning of a corner suddenly we are back at the lowest level we have ever been at. Its like we don't face one of the most important promotion pushes our club has ever faced. you would think we dont have 40k fans each week paying money and that we dont make more money than hearts setting our standards below theirs. Thats the last i will say on transfers they are an embarrassment and we will reap what we sow.
  6. We are only 9 points better off than this point last year. We have faced one top tier side and were well beat. Don't know what you are basing being able to fair better in play offs on. Kilmarnock just beaten 5-1 by Dundee utd should in that case be easily beaten as we did last time Our style has improved on the eye but the substance hasn't dramatically changed. We still look like we might face a play-off depending on injuries and if we can find a consistent rich vein of form. We are not exactly running away with it. The league is a poor standard weaker than last year with hearts gone yet we are still fighting to win it Hopefully we can beat Falkirk this time around and push on. Another loss like last time and we have a fight on our hands
  7. Take it more will be released later. Who is that asking the questions?
  8. Agree there are loads of positives at the club style being one of the biggest. Don't agree we can afford failures at any price taking in the big picture. Loving the new style of play at the club and the areas we have grown in. That doesn't mean we can let the standard of our aims diminish in the pursuit of style. As we have agreed before I think we disagree on the level or standard in squad being sufficient or on target. Personally think we are a mile off where we need to be to secure the clubs aims.
  9. Don't disagree just said it was depressing.
  10. What do MW stats look like in reference to signing English players for cheap and them being gems? We have all heard of the 2 big successes but how do the rest fair? What's the success to failure rate?
  11. Not solely addressing me when you quoted me and then asked me a direct question? Your question makes no sense. How can you choose who to compete with in an open market? I expect us to grow beyond struggling with £400k bids. I also expect us to get to then surpass Celtics level. Do you not?
  12. where do I say compete with the type of clubs you mention? Where do I mention 3 years? If your going to quote a post and question it trying reading it first. All I said was its depressing to watch leagues like the chinese be able to do what we cant and I look forward to the day we can spend more than £400k on a player. If you cant think of a day where we will be better off than now I pity you
  13. Arrested for swearing in the vicinity of children. No complaint was received from any parent or child. The swearing was stick your fucking cameras up yer arsenal. It's now illegal for rangers fans to swear at games. If that's not a serious indication of a police state not sure what is
  14. yes you can. There are people who control multiple clubs in Europe. The SFA want agreement first before giving permission. That does not mean no.
  15. its depressing to see a Chinese side able to afford £25m for Ramieries and beat clubs like psg and bayern to his signature but we cant get £400k transfer's over the line. How things have changed. Cant wait until we are back at full throttle with all this far behind us
  16. minimizing ashleys involvement gets my whole backing and the removal of any voting rights with his shares will hopefully see him sell his shares and fuck off. Rab is correct in a fashion, we cannot be fined for ashley having voting rights as he was granted permission to him them along with any rights by the sfa up to 10% if he wants more he has to tell the sfa first. The fine was for not declaring his control at management level
  17. ashley was fined £7500 later dropped to £1000 which he is still contesting at court as far as i am aware. The club was fined £5k for 3 breaches of rules one of which was bringing the game into disrepute or something along the lines of not in the best interest of football if my memory serves. The fines have nothing to do with shares they were for control of management or administration at two clubs without prior written consent. You can have control of two clubs you just need to have permission from the sfa first.
  18. they are saying it because warburton doesn't want him for the first team but Mullholland thinks he has what it takes so has brought him in on a short term loan for the youths to prove his worth, in their opinion. Guess we will find out the truth if he gets a game for the first team before his deal is up
  19. The Union Bears would like to express our deep concern at the actions and behaviour of Police Scotland during last night's game at Cappielow. In light of recent events, it had been clear from the outset that the police came with the intention of targeting the Rangers support, and filming could be clearly seen from the main stand and opposing Cowshed. This was highlighted by the arrest of two Rangers fans who, despite no sectarian singing, were arrested and charged for allegedly joining in with 'stick your fucking camera up your arse' in protest against plans for facial recognition software. Despite this being an obviously ludicrous and alarming charge, it is alleged that the two fans "swore in front of children during this song", and this is deemed offensive at a football match - despite no complaints being made by any children or any parents to the police. To add to this shambles, whilst processing two Rangers fans, the police officers were unaware of the name of the 'Offensive Behaviour at Football Act and Threatening Communications Act 2012' or the year it was introduced, and proceeded to ask the accused in question. This charge is a particularly low point in Scottish Football and the actions of Police Scotland towards football fans. Further, this highlights the wider attack on the rights of football fans in Scotland and the danger posed by the Offensive Behaviour at Football Act and the plans for facial recognition software. It is no longer an argument over sectarianism; the attendance of football fans aiming to actively support their team has been deemed unacceptable. This is undeniable proof that police officers are being sent to football grounds across the country with the sole intention of making arrests on fans who dare to support their club. The Union Bears would like to urge Rangers Football club and fellow Rangers fans for their backing over the clear escalation of this matter.
  20. I think the whole issue is somewhat manufactured and fundamentally dishonest. It's a self-fulfilling industry which makes people votes and, worse, money. Yes, of course we want to eradicate bigotry and I think we probably have - at least to as well a level as we can maybe expect given the tribal nature of football spot on:thup:
  21. His decision to put mckay into the number 10 slot was fantastic. Was wondering at the time what he was thinking as it looked so congested but it was a master stroke
  22. thought he was away on a training course? hopefully signings getting announced if true
  23. it was reported we tried for the two from accrington but they want £400k so cant see it happening if true. Cant see falkirk selling vaulks for £300k hes worth more to them in the promotion push
  24. just signed a new contract did he not? sure i read in the daily mail that evans brother signs 3 year deal blah blah blah
  25. really interesting to hear about the web page idea. Its a nice change to see us on the cutting edge when it comes to coaching. Long may it continue. Would love to see rtv or the website to an in depth look at something like this.
