Nobody has mentioned big money signings. Just signings that fit our budget but have a proven record. We are basically buying Clark like signings but without the success behind them. Its not just the league they are in its the ability the have shown in that league over time. League + history+ Standing. The fact they have never played in front of crowds or been tested under stress. They are going into a fish bowl when they have never experienced anything even close. They are young very rough players who will play in front of a crowd who demand near perfection, they will be expected to hit the ground running and also compete with multi million pound signings from them. Both Accrington players turn 22 in the next few weeks. The 17 year old is from barnet I think and has prove himself at u21s and looks like he has an abundance of talent. Can't see this one happening to be honest one of the bit clubs in england will gamble a mil on him Anyone who cannot see an issue with all of that has his head firmly in the sand

yeah agree with that it seems you must have sway over fellow fans before you get invited. I'm obviously massively jealous! Would love to have seen random season ticket holders invited to the blue room to see things like the Loving cup ceremony or to visit the directors box once in a while

It's all too cosy for me. It's getting like the board and their buddies are all shoehorned into place. Seeing fan group members invited to the blue room at things like the loving cup ceremony leaves me feeling uncomfortable. Not that I believe or think anything untoward is happening nor do I mean to cast aspersions on anyone. I would just like to see more autonomy between fans groups and the board. I'm all for open communication but favours and gifts should be a no no. How can you be unbiased or questioning towards friends? That's not to say I think these people who give a lot of time and support to the club and fans shouldn't receive our thanks and favour, I just think a level of separation is in the best interests of the club.

Agree with that. Personally I would have talked to the club and agreed areas that the money could be spent on. Things like the disability seating, scouting, ed house etc then approach the members with a detailed plan. The security wouldn't have been such an issue if the members could see the results of their money

A wee bit pedantic BH. No? the issue is well known and has been for days, you don't need the email to have made a decision. "4 hours is plenty of time to reply to an email on a subject you have previous warning of(its been in the media and covered extensively online). Obviously it is not ideal but think the guy has enough on his plate right now. Be far better to collate the email returns and decide once the percentage that has taken part is known. If its too low fair enough cancel the vote and then look at the reasons
