  1. The players apparently knocked back an end of year bonus.
  2. Decent result. Celtic was always going to be the test for us though. We have our chance now to put them in their place. Question for Elfideldo, i know the game is behind closed doors mate but are they letting you in?
  3. The man with the clubs best interest at heart even in our darker hours, Rangers man and legend? That's who I would have thought too right enough, well into the millions with that one.
  4. Is there any proof of what either man had put into their own bank accounts from the Rangers one? I can't imagine there is tbh. It's all guesswork there.
  5. Thanks mate but i am not convinced Frankie or Zappa will be best pleased with its use on here. I am certainly slightly uncomfortable with its use.
  6. Would you not agree rape is an extremely poor choice of word mate? This is a football club we are talking about here not a human being.
  7. Which single person has earned the most from our club in the last 3 years? One person, one name, one man. Name him.
  8. Financially, medium term to me is months. Short term is days to weeks. I guess it all depends what ones interpretation of these terms is. When he first said short to medium term i was one of the first to say we were ok for a couple of months only but everyone else seemed to ignore Wallaces statement on term and concentrate on other things he said.
  9. I will get to them after you answer my question first, please. Quickly on the Wallace thing, he said we were ok short to medium term, that was months before any loan offer was requested? I don't have a problem with his wording on short to medium term, for me, it was.
  10. I have asked you to look at the £66.5m spent and take off the non-recurring costs then come back to us and show us the problem. Please, before we go any further, do that. Thanks.
  11. A small minority chose to ignore Sandys day and join in a silly chant against the board. That match was not the time for that stuff. The cards yes, that was the majority, when the anti-board pr stunts were in full flow. Back then it certainly looked like the board were "at it". Quite a lot has changed though since then, has it not?
  12. I was there and i will deny that, yes. To suggest tens of thousands joined in is an outright lie mate. It was more a whisper than a roar. Our last home game was about respect and reflection.
  13. For me the worst recurring costs that i can see are the players wages, all agreed and signed off by men no longer here. The current board have issued a list of where all the money has gone and still it's not enough for some people. Look at the list of costs, take away the tens of millions which will not be on the next set of accounts then come back and tell us where the club is being raped, the truth is, if anywhere, it's on the playing side, staff and players wages. Kevin Kyles article in the paper today gives us a damning insight into how our players think about being here and confirmed exactly what most of us have been saying all season, they don't care, it's easy money.
  14. They are a very decent outfit. Howe is a more than decent manager too.
  15. Ally was telling us it was 27%, which it may have been in the last 2 years but that included tens of millions we won't bring in, in the future. People have been trying to deflect from the football costs claiming the wages to turnover ration was anything between 25% and 33% when that is clearly being economical with the truth. In what way is £11.2m per annum far from excessive? It's an enormous cost.
  16. We are only turning over £18/19m in the lower leagues aren't we? Football costs are averaged at £11.2m. That's well over 50%.
  17. The IPO money makes our wages to turnover ratio seem a lot lower than it actually is. We won't have a 20 odd million injection every year will we? If you take away the one off costs which won't be on future accounts the ratio is closer to 50% than 30%. One can only guess why Ally and some fans deliberately choose to ignore this. Our footballing costs far far too high. That is just a fact.
  18. I despise Dicksons tone with fans. A horrible man.
  19. Soccerway says Celtic won.
  20. Green is gone as far as i am concerned, there is no proof to argue against that imo although i do stand to be corrected, making such accusations and even wasting energy thinking of such conspiracies takes away from the genuine issues we face. You speak of the Easdales lack of brains, Green was equally as stupid if not more so.
  21. Is your problem the cost of creating and forming a newco? £16m for me seems a bit steep tbh, but it's done now, nothing can be done about it. A couple of million paying off duds, it's done now. A million or so on director pay offs, they are gone, it's done. £6m or so acquiring propery and/or land. It's done, it's now ours. Of the £66.5m spent, how much is annual recurring costs? £20-25m approx? Hardly Armageddon. I actually can't believe the football side of things which has had £20m spent on it in just 18 months in part time lower leagues has had less scrutiny than the non-recurring costs. That is bizarre.
  22. Jose Mourinho wouldn't have the players to do that, right now mate. That time is 2 years down the line. That problem is not McCoists fault nor the boards. The players we need to win the SPL will not come to us right now, one for the own careers and two we most certainly cannot afford them just now, some would also argue thirdly, we are unable to identify or them. Investment will come, i have no doubt it will come, in some form, from someone, probably a new regime, but you need to ask yourself, given his track record on the matter, would you give Ally more money? If we go into the SPL all guns blazing splashing millions here there and everywhere it will ruin us again. We don't have the manger, we don't have the coaches and we don't have the footballing infrastructure to be a successful top flight Scottish club. We don't have the brains or the ambition anywhere in the club to have us kings of Scotland again. Guessing about what investment we will get 2 years down the line is at the bottom of the priority list for me. It's not important right now. Getting ready is the important thing and we are miles away from being ready.
