Poll for Time of Year for the Next Gersnet Dinner
Super Cooper replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
Not the weekend of September 19th please, that's my wedding! Or Aug 20 - 23, stag doo. Any other dates should be fine. -
We went 15 clear, Celtic had 2 in hand.

His passion and drive actually made me feel proud and excited, him and his work rate made me think we were in with a chance against Utd. I don't recall seeing that in a Rangers player for such a long time.

He was like a man possessed against Dundee Utd, if he played like that every week he would be one of the best players in the country and worth millions.

Re-arranged possible title decider of the u20 under way
Super Cooper replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
There was a time a few years back they were on about 9 i think, not sure who stopped them. May have been Hibs? As you say, anyone who dismisses stuff like this is foolish and rather ignorant. It paints a picture. -

It has to be about both, i don't want us breeding losers. We are a club for winners. -

Numerous. At least 5 or 6. Turning it on in the EPL.

If you were in Allys position at Rangers would you rather spend £12k a week on Daly or spread that out amongst 5 or 6 scouts? I am interested to know how hard if at all he fought to have scouts in place rather than blow millions per year on shite players.

Will they not end up giving the club even more money in the long run?
-
Has to be the manager, he was given all the tools and some to do the job and has made a complete Noël Hunt of it. He has been backed and supported in almost every way possible. How hard did he fight to have a scouting network put in place post Newco? What does Ian Durrant actually do? What is Kenny McDowalls input to team affairs? Why did we sign so many players we simply didn't need? Why can't our players not hit a dead ball properly? Why are set pieces neglected? How hard did he work on a sustainable and efficient plan to prepare us for the SPL? How much work has been put into developing our own players giving them sufficient game time to be ready to play and hold their own when needed in the future? I could go on all day asking questions. Fwiw, I don't want any of the usual suspects answering the above questions on behalf of Ally making excuses for him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Couldn't agree more, we have thrown away the best chance our club will ever have had to "sort ourselves out".
-
Because of poor managerial decisions. In reality, it's everything to do with Ally. As for "many a player that wouldn't have looked out of place with a blue shirt on. " Stop, just stop it.

I went back onto a job this week run by Bears with almost all employees Bears too, no one onsite has renewed yet, no one in my row at the last match was renewing, in fact I don't know anyone who is renewing. I do wonder what the Baird are making about all and how they plan on coping with an undoubted shortfall in sales. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

McCoist is looking after himself, not Rangers signing Miller. Short termism to safe guard his job which it will but does us no favours when he will need replaced again in a year or two.
-
Did you fall for Ally's spin? It's over 50% Rab, that's far too much. Look at the turnover and take away the Income we won't get every other year, then work out what it is annually. Footballing salary costs are about 50 odd % of turnover mate. The IPO diluted the ratio Ally was trying to use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Are you for real Rab? Have you seen the ins and outs? The costs that need cut are the footballing costs. The huge football related wage bill.

Our wee gaffer doesn't know any other way.

Someone in the Musselbrough area, claiming to be his uncle or his dads best friend was telling folk just last week there was absolutely no way Kenny was ever coming back to Scotland. Lol.

I back Telfer 100% on this mate. This is not his fault. I actually admire his ambition.
