Derek McInnes has his summer transfer list planned out
Super Cooper replied to Steve1872's topic in General Football Chat
He is obviously addicted to Fifa Ultimate Team! Good on the wee man! -
Few folk on twitter and on here Rab wasn't against it either.
-
We have people within our support who are trying their hardest to justify doing just that. It's mental.
-
Lloyds didn't care, he was getting them their money.
-
Whos fault is that Rab?
-
Not the ones i have saw on RM or Twitter mate. Some of their language aimed at anyone who dare question the board is disgusting. Could be wannabees/ hangers on right enough claiming to be VB.

AJ, PM and MB were shouting it from the roof tops to anyone who would listen. Sadly not enough did.

Your problem is McCoist mate, not Murray Park. You may not want to admit it but it is. In Calums case, Murray Park has gone above and beyond providing a cracking youngster for the first team, whether that youngster gets game time or not is upto the first team manager.
-
It cost double that mate.
-
How about £12k pw a week for Jon Daly, or whatever it is? £10k pw on Black, £7k pw on Shiels, £7k pw on Templeton, is that not valuable resources which could be spent elsewhere? Do we really need to be spending those disgusting amounts to win part time leagues?
-
I just posted that couple of mins ago mate!
-
First and foremost Murray Park is a training facility, not a youth academy. Rab, it has to be the very same debate, they are linked so closely on this issue. You are moaning because yo don't think we are getting value for money from our training facility(remember it's not an academy) which i agree with to be honest but the reason it isn't value for money is because we hire managers who either don't want to work with our own players, are unable to work with our own players, cannot develop players or are unwilling to develop our own players. The only one in the last 20 years who was able to do it was hounded out after 6 months. Remembering youth didn't lose PLG his job, that aspect of management was not his failing. It was actually one of his fortes! Again, at the end, kids are not getting their chance because the manager would rather sign Blacks, Dalys and Peraltas.
-
And produce them we did. It's not Murray Parks fault if the first team managers refused to use its graduates. Why should Murray Park improve? Surely it's actually the first team manager which needs to improve? Again, the players are there and they keep coming. A smaller training ground would be a sports centre, not big enough for a club with our ambitions.

Not better asking why, if it is, why is it too expensive to run? Sinclairs salary? Kirkwoods? Duries? The groundsmen? The IRA supporting chef? Worth changing energy supplier? Rather than selling up and suffering the costs of not only relocation but another build. That is just mental. What is that money Rab? How does running Auchenhowie compare to Lennoxtown and similar sized facilities? Help me out please mate, bearing in mind our turnover is going to double within the next 24 months.

Point 1 - MP opened in 2001. McGregor was only 19 at that point with another 15 years of development ahead of him. Hutton joined the club a matter of months before MP opened and was only 17 when it opened. Over a decade of development before he hits his peak. Lowing was only 13 when MP opened. Burke was only 18 when it opened with over a decade of development ahead of him before he hits his peak. Shinnie was only 12 when MP opened again with over a decade of development ahead of him there. Smudger was 16 when MP opened and like the rest, key developmental year ahead of him within MP. Adam again, was only 16 when MP opened and like every other player i named, would spend all his key developmental years at Murray Park. Point 2 - McGregor, Hutton, Smith, Adam and Burke all proved they can handle winning trophies and titles at Rangers. Sadly Lowing and Shinnie didn't get the chance. Point 3 - We couldn't even get past Xmas in Europe with some of Europes best players and you expect it with kids? C'mon now Rab, let's not be silly here. Point 4 - McGregor, Shinnie, Hutton, Adam and Burke have all went onto play for some huge clubs and done very well for themselves individually. All being international players too. Not Partick Thistle or Morton players like you say. Point 5 - The manager. We agree.
-
It's beyond all doubt where the issue lies mate.
-
It would if we had managers who knew how to use the players properly. Ironically, Le Guen used McGregor, Hutton, Lowing, Burke, Shinnie, Smith and Adam, 3 of them were almost £10m players and look how he was treated. Walter instead of using youth second time round spent money we didn't have. McCoist is exactly the same, youth is sacrificed so he can tell his grand weans he went through League 1 undefeated. It's embarrassing. The facility is not the issue, it's the staff. The players are there.
-
Scores of good young talent has come through it's doors, we just haven't had anyone who knows what to do with all that talent. Why use an inexperienced kid when SDM will borrow £4m for you to spend eh? Why use an inexperiended kid when Craig Whyte will let you sign 9 new players eh? Why use an inexperienced kid when Chuckles Green and Craig Mather will let you carry £8m wage bills in the lowest tiers of Scottish football eh? Why promote and use your own players when Mr Wallace has told you you can add to an already ridiculously costly squad eh?
-
C'mon dB. On the one hand you are digging at the dummies on our bench yet praising McCann for being on another bench. If you heard Owen Coyle talking about football one would swear he was the best football manager in the world. Talking a good game is different from being able to actually do it. There is no evidence from McCanns time as a coach that he has had any positive influence on anything or anybody, is there?
-
Why? What has he done to merit a place on our gravy train? What are his coaching credentials? Dunferline were dreadful last season and embarrassing yesterday. Where was his coaching input there?
-
Tend to agree with this. If King has no interest buying them out then walk away. I say King because he has been the name in the press demanding change. This leaving it to the fans is pointless, it's getting us nowhere and only serves to make the divisions wider. Show us the money Dave or fcuk off and let the club get on with things. I am getting pig sick of this. What will happen if we post our next set of accounts and we are only losing a few hundred grand, if they actually look ok? Or even post a profit? What happens then? What happens if we post our next set of accounts and no directors and no non playing staff have received bonuses? What happens if when we post our next set of accounts and realise the wage to turnover ratio is double what the manager claims it is and the money fans thought the board were taking was actually being spent on the team? What happens then?
