  1. Wonder what Butcher sang on the karaoke last night..........
  2. Is Nash now a full time employee at Rangers? If so, what is his salary? Less than BSs £500k after bonus i bet. Toxic may have been replaced but i can't see, nor believe the new is guy taking home £10k a week like the "rebels" claim Toxic did. Doesn't matter when he agreed to cut. He was still stealing his disgusting salary for months before Wallace sorted it out. Expected to leave by who? Fans who don't rate them? If money was freely being wasted Ally would have kept them all. Wallace has put an end to that crap. 4 players gone/on way out. Yet more savings. Wallace is doing pretty well here actually. The only mention of figures in your reply is BS salary. The savings so far that i can see are £500k per year Stockbridge. Including bonus. £520k per year on Toxic Jack and his PR Company. £390k on Supers salary £890k on the combined salaries of the 4 players. More will most certainly leave meaning more cuts. £2.3m it is, or thereabouts, i do apologise for saying £2.5m, i was a few hundreds grand out. If i done a bit more digging i am sure i could top the savings up even more. So, looks like Wallace has done alright in fact or should he have sacked the woman who has worked in the ticket office for 20 years? Or the wee security man at the front door? Is that what you are looking for, something else to moan about? In fact the biggest blunder Wallace and co have made so far is keeping McCoist and his pals on the gravy train. It has cost them millions from lost season book renewals.
  3. When he spoke at the AGM a whole month later he said "We've got a cost-base that is out of alignment with our ability to generate income". So what has he done about it? Has there been any major news about the club cutting it's cloth? Stockbridge and £250k a year off the payroll Toxic and the "rebels" £10k a week claim off the pay roll McCoists salary was officially cut and signed off Little and Hegarty have been released. Simonsen and Cribari have not been offered new deals That's what, almost £2.5m per year off our costs. It's a start.
  4. Arveladze there too. Nice to see.
  5. I don't believe for a second as many as that have not renewed mate. This 25k is becoming Rabs Fullerton and Kean. 11000 renewals is extremely hard to believe.
  6. You know who i mean. And they are. I am not defending the board at all, i wouldn't dare, i certainly don't mean to come across as if i am, if i am but i refuse to jump on the bandwagon of the side too. I have admitted many times, i am completely lost, i don't know where i stand, where we stand, where our club stands, i just don't know. I don't know who to believe. The whole thing is one big mess. That is why i now believe we need the next set of accounts. We need to see them to know where we are. What i will say is the most important thing for me is the football team, regardless of who wears the blazers and ties. I am a football fan, that is all i know. Football.
  7. http://www.fitbastats.com/rangers/club_records_league_attendance.php Avg 2011 46324 Avg 2012 45750 Avg 2013 42938 Down year on year for last 3 years. We went up a league last year and crowds went down. I sat in numerous games last season were you were lucky if 30000 were there. All the moans and groans around me were about he manager, the football, the players. I don't remember anyone saying, "this is garbage, sack the board" "we can't string 2 passes together, sp!vs out". We don't need to lie to find fault in the board, the football or the management team. They have enough genuine problems without that. Most constructive, thank you.
  8. In what way have they gave us a bad name? This is getting silly now.
  9. With McCoist in charge, it could very well be us. He is going to make this look like climbing Everest drunk.
  10. Fans have been walking away gradually for 3 years. They are sick of the football on show. No way were 20000 not bothering to go to games because of some scaremongering stories about the board. Not a chance. As for the football being rubbish for the last 10 years, the football may have been hard to watch at times but we were very, very successful, attendances had been very steady year on year until McCoist got a hold of us and since he took over they have went down to now almost half full stadia. He has driven thousands away. Crowds were falling long before September mate. Away ticket have never been easier to get as well, fans don't want to pay money to watch absolute dross. You cannot possibly know that last bit Gunslinger, the numbers sold or why people are not renewing. Speaking for myself, it's my opinion fans are more turned off by the football on show than the board in control. Absolutely. It's also my opinion that this board need one more set of full accounts so we can see where we are, for sure. Until then, everything is guess work and scaremongering.
  11. Do you honestly believe he would want such a pay off? Honestly mate, Ally McCoist, Mr Rangers, Rangers till he dies, doesn't walk away, Rangers man, clubs best interests at heart bla bla bla. No way would he take a pay off. He couldn't.
  12. Outstanding!
  13. That's unfair and not true mate. One of the issues i have with this board is keeping him in place. It's scandalous if you ask me. Shows a lack of bottle and ambition.
  14. Major L O L
  15. And do we know what costs it is that meant we were running at such a loss where we need a loan? The turnover for the year was only £18/19m yeah? £11.2m of that was on the football and management team. A business and company the size of Rangers cannot operate over a year year with that remaining £7/8m. I think the club running costs are actually double that so what did you want the board to do? Not pay wages? Not pay British Gas or Scottish Power? In the last few months we have seen an effort to cut costs, players have been let go, the managers ridiculous salary has been cut as well. Players contracts have since ran out and will not be renewed. Where else can we cut costs? There comes a time when fans need to accept just where and who we are. We are not a Champions League club turning over £50m anymore. We won't know what this new board have been doing until we get the next set of accounts for this year. It won't be nearly as bad as the last set, that is for sure.
  16. That's a matter of opinion. Money was wasted, people need to get over that, it's done. Many one of costs, some necessary and some questionable. If it's still being wasted in the next set of accounts then you will have a point. Tens of millions of one off cots can't be in future accounts. As much as I don't trust this board none of us know right now how the club is being run and what our current turnover/profit/loss is sitting at. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I agree, in fact i think anyone who disagrees is kidding themselves on. Fans have been slowly driven away for years now. The board saga is such a convenient side show for those unwilling or unable to criticise our legends in the dug out.
  18. That youth Rangers team is incredibly strong.
  19. As predictable as the rain in Scotland. Laptop rebels out in force for poor Lenny.
  20. Scottish journalism. Deary me. This is about as deluded as it gets. Poor Aidan.
  21. But it's because they care so much, misguided as it probably is Rab. If this board had anything about them though or any feeling for the club they would invest the shortfall themselves and prove to fans we are all in this together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. People who genuinely care, of all sexes and ages. How any Bear could be so abusive towards them is ridiculous. Well done the Protesters. Keep looking for answers for the benefit of the club and people like myself who don't know what on earth is happening inside our club.
  23. I wasn't there so it would have been wrong to say us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
