I guess it's all down to interpretation of the term. Falcao maybe yes, Reus probably, not sure about the other two.

Anyone witness to the heckling and shouting of abuse at Wallace when he was talking?

No on field success, no feel good factor, fans boycotting season books, no blue chip players and fans boycotting merchandise. In what world is that a base to grow?

Cameroon squad have refused to fly to Brazil
Super Cooper replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
A row over money? Representing their country at the biggest football show on earth and they spit the dummy over money? That is disgusting. It's all that's wrong with the modern game. Sickening to see. Playing in a world cup should never be about money. -
Are there any world class players missing it? There's a few good ones but world class? Who is out mate?
-
Sure you would have Kenny, sure you would have.

Summer transfer window: Official ins/outs and transfer rumours

Perry out? Has he actually left? -
Is keeping them at bay losing 1-0? I thought that had to be a clean sheet? Belgium will never realise their potential while Wilmots is manager. Terrible coach.

I don't believe our players are anywhere near as bad as their performances of the last 3 year have shown mate. They can't ALL be 'that' bad. Almost every player that he has come in contact with has regressed and looked completely hopeless.
-
It's almost impossible to judge players under McCoist as he just casts such a huge negative black cloud over every single one of them. One cannot and should not underestimate the negative effect he has on individual players and the team as a whole.

I meant in this thread Rab, it was Gribz above my post you replied to. They have a damn good record of signings decent players from that area over the years, compared to us anyway. I stated above, this thing about them buying low and selling high is a bit of a myth. Strachan and Lennon made a loss in the transfer market with the players Liewell and John Park gave them, those 2 are still there, it will come down to whether Deila can manage the players better and get more out of them to make them genuine sellable assets. We can have a huge say in how successful he is and how much money they make from their players but we need to change our manager first or we will be at best second forever.
-
It was someone else who brought up PLG Rab. I hear you mate but i just don't see it. Not as long as they are winning league titles.
-
I wish it was their Le Guen moment though i can't see it. Deila will be able to communicate better with his players and he already has a very settled squad of winners to work with. I don't see a Barry Ferguson or Kris Boyd in their group to spit the dummies out. I believe what they do will always have an impact on us mate and like wise with us. There is just no getting away from that. For example keeping McCoist in charge makes their life so much easier but should we replace him with a real football manager then it makes their lives much harder as we are then a genuine threat to them.
-
The reality is we don't know what option he was but whatever it was, cheap, expensive, affordable, unaffordable, 3rd choice, 1st choice, 2nd choice, 7th choice, it's still a better choice than Ally f*cking McCoist!
-
Is Lennon not sitting on a £6m loss in the transfer market?
-
The question is, what transfer success? They have made good money on 2 maybe 3 players in the last 10 years or so, no? It all seems to be hyperbole and deluded PR with them.
-
I am genuinely jealous that they have brought a young, vibrant, ambitious and hungry manager in. This is what we didn't want after Lennon. This news just makes my resolve to remove McCoist all the more firmer.
-
So generic, boring and cheap looking.
-
No doubt he will be on huge bonus incentives.

San Marino have a striker with almost 100 caps. Gary Caldwell has around 60 caps for Scotland. David Healy must have about 100 as well. My point is international caps mean very little with regards ability unless it for two top nations and Scotland have been a backwater for almost 20 years now. Technically Leigh Griffiths is a far superior footballer to Kenny Miller but what Kenny lacks in ability he compensates with work rate and effort. He has a far better attitude and that will probably earn him a better career than other superior players to himself.
-
Back us and you can have more players Alistair. I'm out 'til your out Ally.
-
I am convinced we would know, whether we did or or not or whether he knocked us back or not is not the issue anyway. Any deal to allow him our facilities and coaches/physios should have been with a binding agreement that we get him before anyone else if or when he becomes fit again. People can dress this up how they like but it is yet more proof of us being run like a pub team. He has took valuable time away from genuine Rangers players for his own selfish needs only to walk out on us and sign for our most bitter rivals. It's humiliating.

“Every club in the world wants to bring young players through. But you can’t just go into a drawer and pull out a young player,” That's a disgraceful comment. I feel so sorry for our kids, i really do.
