Dafuq... ?! Tunisia beating France B. Australia beating Denmark.

After seeing the French team I've decided to watch the Denmark game - at least Denmark need to win.

The article above that discussed MB's tactics at QPR stated that he likes a 4-3-1-2. I can see this working well for us. It could, perhaps, get the best out of Morelos and Colak, Sakala, Hagi, Kamara, Tillman, Tavernier and Yilmaz. It could even be beneficial for Kent: let him play as the #10 - which he has done before under SG - where he can pick the ball up and just run, left or right, then pass it out wide to the WBs or feed it into the forwards, without getting boxed-in against the touchline. (He can't cross, anyway... !)

Another good scoring couple of matches last night - with a lot of Correct Scores. WAL-ENG: Everyone got the Correct Result (except Lenny), with Rousseau, Yorkie and Ted getting the Correct Score. Rousseau and Ted applied their JOKER, gaining 6 points from the game! Franc, Dado and Devil gained an extra 1 point for their JOKERs. IRN-USA: All but 5 got the Correct Result, with Yorkie, Mal and TB getting the Correct Score. Mal applied his JOKER, gaining 6 points from the match. No change at the top, but it's incredibly tight! Some good scores from these last two games. Everyone got a CR from the NED-QAT game, with Gonzo, Rousseau, Franc, Stewarty, Ted and Graeme getting a Correct Score. Gonzo gets an extra 3 points for applying his JOKER. SBG, dB, Devil, BEARGER and WB91 gained 1 point for a Correct Result in the ECU-SEN game, with SBG and WB91 getting the Correct Score. Agreed. That's the modern game. Managers are coaches now; they have to implement a style of play, instil tactics and strategy, improve players etc. Gone are the days where a manager just assembles a team, organises them ('four-four-f*cking-two!') and lets them go. Those types don't work now; the game is too complex.

You've been arguing against a 'project' appointment for weeks - is Beale not a project? I've always argued that Beale is a talented coach, but I just think this comes too soon for him; he's only been in the door 5 minutes at QPR, and his record his patchy. I see this as a disappointing appointment - mainly because there are better, more experienced options out there.
