Another win for the B-team.

I thought Edmundson had promise -- I considered him our 3rd or 2nd choice at one stage! He just didn't progress, did he? And, of course, there was that disciplinary issue. Oh, well. We have quite a few that are better now. Surely there is a wee fee involved?

I would not persist with Jones. He's not good enough. If there must be a body there, give the place to a youngster or shoehorn someone in. He does nothing. At this stage he's just after the pay slip.

FT 0-0. Much better team performance second half, without being effective with the majority of possession. Good work out, though.

Oh-- Kelly has gone off. I don't want to watch any more... ?

After a couple of absolutely shocking passes, Katic has grown into the game on his return, intercepting and pressuring well. Fashion is on!

[HT] 0-0 Poor team performance, with no real control on the game. There were a few good individual performances, though. Kelly, Patterson and Kamara were the pick of the bunch. Itten, while having little service, has put himself about well.

That was a wonderful pass from Simpson, and a good run from Wright. Better.

Simpson is a weird one, for me: I feel like he reads the game well, but then doesn't... follow through? He'll read the ball, intercept it, then dawdle and put himself under pressure. If he could learn to follow through he'd be a good option.

Kelly and Patterson have been good. And Kamaradona.

Wright's been disappointing this pre-season, hasn't he? Quite quiet.

I understand where you are coming from, but I think you're caught up on the league -- again, if I may say so, because you had a similar issue with our B-team playing in the lowland league. I suspect it's down to play-style. Dunfermline are expected to do well and dominate games. I think this is preferable to defensive football in a relegation fight. I think he's expected to make a big contribution to that. You've probably read this, but Mulholland said, “we believe that their style of play and excellent grass surface will be conducive to Kai making a big impact.”

I don't mind it. I suspect it looks busier in that photo than it will on the pitch. I don't care for that orange thing on the collar.

Kennedy is contracted until 2024, isn't he? If we think he's a top talent, there's no point in selling him now.

(At least until he misinterprets our next formation... ? )

This vote's not even close, surely? A goal from the half-way line should be enough on its own to win. But the build-up: Roofe shrugs off about 4 players, dummies another, then nutmegs the last. And then smashes it into the net. In the last minute of the game. In a swimming pool.
