I love these threads, but I also hate them. I've got the following, but I'm still annoyed that I'm missing many out! (5-2-3 - because I need to have a formation.) FT 0-3 Rangers. We were not great today, but solid and workmanlike. We were clinical, however; something that has been missing. I was really pleased with our offensive structure, though: it was a proper 4-3-3, with the wide men playing as inside forwards, in between the lines. Too often our 4-3-3 morphs into a 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-1 which isolates the forward. Solid, professional performance. Three goals and a clean sheet. We can't argue with that.

I think wide should now be Arfield's primary position--or at least, inside forward. He is a wide man by trade.

I actually liked the structure of the midfield and attack today. The midfield trio covered the space well, kept close together, and interchanged position; and the attacking trio picked up excellent positions, Candeias and Arfield especially. They've just been a bit sloppy and flat.

Defoe has been solid. Unlucky not to grab a goal--outwith the one wrongly chopped off.

I don't know about you, but Kent has been anonymous this game.

0-3 Rangers! Defoe lays it on a plate for Arfield to complete his hat-trick!

I still have nightmares about our last visit.

Defoe called offside, chips the 'keeper, scores. It was on, according to the replay!

Defoe is pressing the ball-carrier, but is not covering the pass. Morelos is very good at doing both, forcing the play down one side.

HT 0-2 Rangers. Meh. I think we've been a tad flat, and sloppy in possession. But, we've been clinical; taking the two gilt-edged chances that fell our way.

Motherwell rightly racking up the yellow cards now. And that's without that animal Bowman--who they sold.

Arfield is really rubbing my face in the fact I thought I had him as FGS.

Dirty, deliberate tackle on Katic, there. Andy Walker thinks it's unintentional and has a wee chuckle to himself.

Katic has done well with the physical threat, but he's rather slow and doesn't do much with the ball.

It's been a flat start from us. Our goal was our first chance. Candeias and Arfield are picking up some nice positions between the lines--as they should do, playing wide in a front three--but the trio of Davis, Jack and Kamara have been, not bad per se, but disappointing, giving it away a few times.
