Oh agreed on all points. SG inherited an inadequate squad and then turned then us around both in Euope then domestically. I still think the football we played during 55 was the best I've seen in decades. Whilst Clement has improved us dramatically, I still think we are below the level we were at during 55. Saying all that, nothing to say Clement won't get us to that level and / or beyond once he's been here for a pre-season or two.

So we need to sign Motherwells strikers?

That could be argued, but very similar. Would be interesting if some of the statos could compare where we were goals for and against at this point of the season under SG and Clement.

It's kind of like how we played under SG which worked to perfection when we won 55. So many similarities.

Thought Lundstram, Lawrence and Cantwell all played extremely well. Dessers scored 2 good goals but went for Tav. 3 assists from right back is quite incredible.

Some on here may remember going to Ibrox (or not) when the crowds were under 10,000. However, like the early Sex Pistols gigs, many who weren't there now claim they were. Any great institution like ours is a collective. Without fans it's nothing, without a glorious history it's nothing and without employees who make it great, it's nothing. If you chose to forget the past, fine but I'll never forget those who contributed to out club and its glories and history.

Undoubtedly, but prime Morelos was unplayable. Some of his performances in Europe were absolute sensational and unforgettable.

Hoping Lawrence can stay fit as he and Lundstram look to have a decent understanding and partnership. Cantwell also cementing his place in the team with excellent performances.

Scored some amount of goals, especially in Europe. Would bag loads in this style of team (as would a De Foe or dare I say it, fit Roofe). Colak was a good target man, scored a few goals but no where near Morelos.

Ridvan was poor tonight, one decent ball, ran the ball out off play twice and was meg'ed in Ross County's penalty box. But, yeah he's better than Borna 😀

It wasn't me who started the conversation on past strikers - and if anyone thinks Colak was better than Morelos or would fit into this team / system better than Morells needs to go to Specsavers.

Rangers have scored in each of their last 21 league games in the scoring 47 goals in that run.

Morelos scored far more goals than Colak and would have thrived in this type of system and style we are playing. He is out all time top European scorer and whilst the end of his Rangers career wasn't how we'd have liked, when he was on it, he was unplayable.

I think it's was more just one of those games. Created numerous chances, it woodwork numerous times and keeper has made a few decent saves
