Just reading that was Tav's 100th league goal for us today (he has 14 against Aberdeen). That means 20 European goals. The more you analyse hos goal-scoring recored, the more impressive it becomes.

3 points, 3 goals, clean sheet and top of the league. Not the best of performance but another win notched up.

That's Tav equalled John Greig's scoring record. 1 more and he becomes our all time leading scorer for a defender. 120 goals from right back - unreal.

Time yet for a Tav hat-rick? Some week for the Captain - 3 assists on Wednesday and 2 goals today to help send us top.

Always going to be a tough game today what with the pitch and St Johnstones set-up. Cracking goal from Dio and gives us something to build on.

Our away support is far more forgiving than our home support. They'll not bemoan a misplaced pass or scream in frustration/ entitlement when we're not 4 up at half-time. Maybe a good thing we're away from home tomorrow.

We've been here before and celebrated them dropping points, then us dropping straight after them. We all witnessed the reaction to us not going top mid-week even though we comfortably beat Ross County. Let's cancel out the noise from the East End and play each game on its own merits. Thus far, PC appears to instilled this type of mentality in the squad, let's hope it filters through to the support.

We still have to win tomorrow - let's just concentrate on our results and performances.

Oh agreed on all points. SG inherited an inadequate squad and then turned then us around both in Euope then domestically. I still think the football we played during 55 was the best I've seen in decades. Whilst Clement has improved us dramatically, I still think we are below the level we were at during 55. Saying all that, nothing to say Clement won't get us to that level and / or beyond once he's been here for a pre-season or two.

So we need to sign Motherwells strikers?

That could be argued, but very similar. Would be interesting if some of the statos could compare where we were goals for and against at this point of the season under SG and Clement.

It's kind of like how we played under SG which worked to perfection when we won 55. So many similarities.

Thought Lundstram, Lawrence and Cantwell all played extremely well. Dessers scored 2 good goals but went for Tav. 3 assists from right back is quite incredible.

Hahaha - your desperation to dig yourself out a hole is very eh, punk like (not) 🤷‍♂️🙈 Players do come and go, managers come and go and like it or not, fans come and go. Some on here may remember going to Ibrox (or not) when the crowds were under 10,000. However, like the early Sex Pistols gigs, many who weren't there now claim they were. Any great institution like ours is a collective. Without fans it's nothing, without a glorious history it's nothing and without employees who make it great, it's nothing. If you chose to forget the past, fine but I'll never forget those who contributed to out club and its glories and history.
