So after today's performance, GVB has some big calls to make for Thursday. I think Greegs and Tav are certain starters. Does he start with BB at left back and push Bassey back to CB with Goldson? Midfield is pivotal - will Jack and / or Lundstram be fit? Has Davis done enough to be a starter? Will we see a return of Sands / Kamara / Arfield? Who plays up top with Roofe? Kent and Sakala? Kent and Aribo?

Stephen Kelly who is currently playing for Salford? He broke through into the 1st team and was continually played out of position yet at one point he was our top scorer in the CL group stages? He was (for some reason) promoted to the Rangers fans "whipping boy" and left for Blackpool to much laughter and rejoicing. He then went on to have a very decent career with Liverpool and Stoke in the EPL. See that's what we do with players - somehow we believe players NOT playing are actually better than those who ARE playing who we ridicule, berate and chase away..... If Stephen Kelly was good enough to enhance out team, he wouldn't be at Salford.

Not true - they had ripped up youth football for club and country. Our current youth team are struggling to finish 2nd in league full of amateurs. Anyway, if we did play then, as soon as they made a mistake that cost us a game, they'd be written off and the manager hounded.

No - in the last 2 season's we've seen McCorrie, Patterson, King, Lowry, Kelly and McCann all feature..

Are you seriously comparing our current youth players to Beckham, Scholes, Butt, The Neville brothers et al and our manager to SAF? Also that was once in a generation where they had 4 or 5 players who were exceptional. Not happened since.

Maybe, just maybe he isn't good enough? King looks like he could play at this level but are we qualifying for the CL or winning league with our 1st choice centre halves being King and Soutar? Or a midfield of Lowry, McCann and Murray? Or with Weston in place of Alfie?

He has and that finish is what he can deliver - peach of a goal.

Let's remind ourselves that our B Team containing Weston and McCann got thrashed 4-0 by Stirling Uni yesterday.

He done everything right apart from hitting target. With minutes and confidence he scores that IMO

Inconsistent and little end product but does have pace and is direct - if he could improve his consistancy and end product he'd be an asset.

Sands and Wright fully stripped and warming up (along with King), looks like we'll be seeing both at start 2nd half.
