  1. Rangers 2 v 0 St Mirren Aribo FGS
  2. A very attacking line-up, hopefully 3 points and a few goals.
  3. Wouldn't say that - 1st half was even, Spurs were brilliant 2nd half. Son and Kane are a brilliant partnership and they are now in pole position for CL place. AV / SG will not be judged in games against the likes of Spurs. EPL is a strange league, depending on scores next week AV could be anywhere between 9th or 16th.....
  4. Big win for today Everton but they have a tricky run-in. Man U were rank again.

We have also been linked with Crysencio Jilbert Sylverio Cirro Summerville from Leeds. He was at Feyenoord same time as GVB so may be something in it.

    Strange one IF true.
  7. Borna had a good game when he came on, Bassey best defender, Tav was better when we changed formation but Lundstrum was "standout" over the 90mins.
  8. We scored 2 v Dortmund and 3 against Red Star at Ibrox - not an impossible task
  9. Which given their home form means they must be bad away from home. That means a 1-0 defeat isn't the worst score going into the home leg at Ibrox.
  10. Fair enough - he is the manager and he'll succeed or fail on those type of decisions. We were better after the subs so GVB maybe vindicated in his choice of subs. A 1-0 away defeat in last 8 of EL is hardly the worst result in our history.
  11. To be fair it was a stupid question. What was the answer he (and we) expected from Gio? "Nah, Sakala and Roofe are shit, we really cannae cope without him"....
  12. Again, apart from last season our European performances were against a backdrop of inconsistent domestic form. The major issue I see is our inability to "keep the zero" and we are no longer a threat at set-pieces. I'd be tempted to play Borna next week as it gives an alternative to Tav at set-pieces.
  13. 100% mate - we've more than stalled, we're regressing! I know I sound like a broken record but said for a while (since SG left) there is a "feeling" that some thing isn't right at the club. Signings have been poor but you can only do so much when you're given peanuts to spend. Wouldn't it just be like Rangers to lose on Sunday them go and secure a place in EL semi-final? Yeah I know their more likely to be beaten Sunday and Thursday 😁
  14. Yes, but don't you agree that with the exception of last season, over the last 3-4 years our best performances are in Europe? Would you agree that given where we've come from, we have progressed dramatically in Europe and that getting to last 8 is a phenomenal achievement? Getting to the last 4 - which is achievable would be unbelievable.
  15. I should know better mate after all these years. Just know I'll be disappointed next week 🙂
  16. Red Star at home wasn't that long ago.
  17. How's our recent form in EL?
  18. I can see us winning the game next week. If we can play anywhere near the level we did against Dortmund or Red Star (who are both far superior to Braga) we'll win the game. Critical when it's justified - this isnt Dumbarton or Patrick Thistle, we are in last 8 of Europe with a great chance of getting to the semi-final stage. Think someone slipped something in my Ovaltine...
  19. No point of going next week then - let's just hand the tie to Braga. Aribo, Kent, Ramsey, Roofe have all shown they can play at this level, game is a 2 legged affair and we are playing way above where we should be and continue to punch above or weight
  20. A bit of perspective please - Braga have lost just twice at home this season in ALL compitions - not as if we were playing away to Gala Fuckin Fairydean 🙂 this is last 8 of a major European tournament.
  21. Said yesterday that any result that keeps us in the tie would be a positive result and that's what we've gotten. Roll on next week - rocking Ibrox and think we can win the game.
  22. Would hardly say that, Braga are not "rolling us over". Game / tie is here for the winning
  23. Frustrating as Braga are here for the taking but we've not looked like scoring.
