I've said prior to all knock-out ties, no matter the outcome, we have been outstanding in Europe and getting to the semi-final is a phenomenal achievement and *may be* a step to far. No matter the results over the two legs, we should be extremely proud of the players. Any result in Germany that keeps us in the tie would be outstanding and that includes a narrow defeat. 9 years ago today we travelled to face East Stirlingshire, today we travelled to Germany to play in a major European semi-final. Winning 55 was a sign we were back, imagine the statement of getting to a European final would send? "See them march on"...

Was a ridiculously good game of footie. Up there with the all time classics.

On the challenges, I'd say Balogun was a certain red and Motherwells was a border-line red. However, given the "shirt-pulling" and penalty, it's "amazing" that Motherwell finished game with 11 players.

Didn't see the game today as my boys had a 9:00AM kick-off at Milgavie (5-0 win for Bo'ness United Community 2011's!!!), then we went to Mugdock Park. Feared the worst when I heard we had gone down to 10 men and Motherwell had equalised. Great result - on to Thursday now.

Saw a game on ITV Big Match Revisited few weeks back - Chelsea v Liverpool, it ended 0-0 and most of the highlights were of an old Chopper Harris and a young Graeme Souness kicking lumps out of each other!

I think Ross Countys ground is only ground in Scotland & England where the capacity is larger than the town's population. Sure I heard this at a quiz night many moons ago !
