GVB returns to Holland tonight after holding positive talks with Rangers according to his agent. 1 interview down, 2 to go - all being held in London apparently.
-
You're more than welcome, glad I can be of assistance.
-
Don't think he's finished but he does have a history of picking up injuries.
-
Jack is just back after a major injury so can't see anyone taking a gamble on him and currently he'd struggle to get a game. Villa are shopping at a different level from us, Kent would be a decent signing for them (and / or most premier league teams) and Aribo might be over time. If Matty Cash wasn't their right back then Patterson (Or Tav) may have been a possibility.
-
Who does Jack replace in Villas midfield? As for right back, they spent £24M on the excellent Matty Cash.

It broke my heart ?♂️?♂️????

I didn't say you did. His leaving doesn't impact the club any more or less than the last manager who left during a season, or the one before him, or the ones before that. He isn't the first and won't be the last Rangers manager to leave during a season. They leave with us top of league, in cup semi-final and with a great opportunity to qualify from our EL Group. We have the best squad of players we've had in years. Football managers come and go and we as a club should have all scenarios covered and to be fair, it looks like we have had plans in place for this eventuality. One candidate already interviewed (this morning) and two other candidates to interview over the weekend. Day or two evaluate the interviews and the candidates and replacement in place early next week.

Kamara and Kent only players I can see SG comimg back for. He might take Goldson as backup but he's shopping in a different supermarket now.
-
Least Murty won't be in dug out for semi-final. Just hope he has not infected any of the players ?♂️

I don't get why fans what to focus on and expand so much energy on someone they think is a "snake" / "rat" instead of focussing on what remains. What remains is far more important than what has departed. What remains has been here for 150 years and will be around for another 150 years. What remains is one of the biggest and best institutions in world football. What remains is a club who prosper from adversity. What remains deserves our undivided focus, attention and energy. Those who have left don't.

But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Circa £5M in compensation and player sale(s) in January. Either that, begging bowl out to DUP.

He was always gonna take his backroom staff with him, wasn't a surprise they all left with him. And left us in a worse state than China? Come on......

If the players aren't professional enough to continue to improve without SG, that's on them not SG. Managers come and go every day of the week. Loyalty is no longer a word associated with football unfortunately. Why focus on the negatives or why focus on someone who has left? Why not focus on what is in front of us? Depending on who we hire, it may turn out to be an upgrade - if rather focus on this rather than wasting what little energy I have on someone who has left (no matter the circumstance of their departure).
-
We all knew SG would leave Rangers, we all knew this as soon as he signed up as our manager. When is a good time to leave? He is hardly the first Rangers manager to leave during a season. If someone said to me the day SG signed that he'd leave after delivering 55 and reinstating us as a decent European reputation, I would have taken that. Let's remember the mess we were in when he took over. Being Scottish Champions felt like it was miles away, and as for Europe, well it was an nightmare. He's gone, as we knew he would, the circumstance and merits of his departure could be discussed long into the night, but what's the point? Id rather focus my energy on the future, we have a league to win, and it is winnable, we are in pole position despite being a shadow of the team we know we can be. Rangers are bigger than any one person, Rangers have survived and prospered worse situations than we find ourselves in at this moment in time.

Says the ex-manager who took gardening leave for how long ?♂️? (Btw- I still think of Super as a Rangers legend before anyone starts ? )

Aston Villa's future success or failure has no impact on Rangers FC, but as a WBA fan, I wish them nothing but misery. Personally, I can't harbour any ill feeling towards SG and his staff. They delivered the Holy Grail, and as I've said previously, we have lost better managers and better Rangers men and still prospered. Others will have differing sentiments and they are free to have and display them. However, in the best interest of Rangers FC, let's put this behind us, focus on the future and get right behind whoever the board identify / employ as the next manager of our club / institution.

Bookies have it a two man race, is there still time for an outsider to pip them at the post? GVB still favourite but Lampard odds shortening after removing himself from the running for the Norwich job.
-
Just read that, give them their due, they posted the flight number (BA1440). Also someone in our RSC group chat has just posted a photo of what appears to be GVB flight ticket - Amsterdam - London City.... So Lampard and GVB are two of the three, who's the 3rd? I'll cover Edinburgh Airport any volunteers for Glasgow? This is the most exciting the season has been thus far ?

Bring him home.....?
