  1. Patterson and Kamara are the two obvious sales as we had very little and no outlay on them.
  2. Aribo for me, just shaded it from Kent.
  3. The loss was £23M so the board will be looking at ways to get this back. Easiest way of "softening" the loss is to sell an asset or two (or three). Everton and Liverpool (and maybe a few others) are very interested in Patterson and as soon as an offer that meets our valuation for him (Or any other player), they'll be gone sooner than you can say Martin Bain. The need to start selling players and the need to reduce wages is excellently highlighted here ; https://www.patreon.com/posts/rangers-2021-by-58383882?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=postshare
  4. As did I and wish I hadn't! Their 1st goal was yards offside and Dundee should have had a penalty. Those Masonic refs at it again.
  5. True, but with a £23M hole to fill, I think Patterson would be sold before Tav and with Everton and Liverpool sniffing around, he may move as soon as January depending on any bids we receive.
  6. But it's not just 1 assist it's 101 assists and 68 goals. I think those stats outweigh his "many" mistakes. We could get a right back who is better defensively than Tav, but we lose 101 assists and 68 goals (169 goals), thats a huge loss in anyone's language.
  7. Great predicament to have but Patterson has huge boots to fill if / when he takes over from Tav.
  8. It is, but doesn't take away from the fact he is a novice. Don't see what your getting at here.
  9. He still is, most assists in SPFL and I think 6 goals. Patterson is a great prospect but that's all he is at the moment, a prospect. Tav has shown and continues to show that offensively, he is by far our greatest threat.
  10. So remove our most offensive threat to accommodate a novice? Wow....
  11. Yeah, 101 assists and 51 league goals, 68 in total - outstanding contribution from a right back.
  12. Played well in the main despite losing an early goal. Lost a late goal but we had dropped the tempo by then due to introducing Jack and having to move Bassey to cente-half and Patterson to left back. Into the international break top of the league with a 4 point lead.
  13. Groundhog Day.... Lose an early goal but have played well since going behind. Oh what a finish from Kent!
  14. Rangers 5 v 0 Ross County Fashion JR FGS
  15. Apparently it was a Rangers fan who worked / stayed in the Inverness hotel that Hibs were staying in who witnessed and then reported various breaches of Covid protocol. He seemed more concerned with the identity of the "whistleblower" than he did by Hibs breaking the rules.
  16. Newcastle gonna be some addition to the championship.
  17. Finished 1-0 to Bo'ness who deserved their victory. B Team never really showed up. Had a couple of half chances but were second to every ball and muscled off ball far to often. Game was played in terrible conditions and Bo'ness handled them far better than Rangers. Disappointing day for the B Team.
  18. 1-0 to Bo'ness at half time and Rangers B not in the game at all, lucky to be only be 1 goal down. However Bo'ness have had a very strong wind at their backs 1rst half so expecting an improvement from Rangers 2nd half.
  19. Yeah that jumped out at me as well. Given the amount of tops and March we've moved recently would have expected to see this as a higher value / figure. Whilst £23M looks and sounds a lot, it's around the figure I was expecting. Say every year that this level is unsustainable but given Covid and the implications, didn't expect anything "more positive". Interesting few years ahead tho for the board - automatic qualification to CL (ie winning the league) is now a must.
  20. Our subs made an impact but I voted for Arfield as thought he played well in spells and supported front 3.
  21. If we finish 2nd in group we will play a team dropping out of CL, finish 3rd we go into ECL as a seeded team - is that correct. If so, is it better finishing 3rd?
  22. Thought that but not seen / heard confirmation that VAR was involved in the decision to disallow the goal.
  23. Still not seen an angle that confirms this and assistant referee wasn't looking directly along the line, we was a few steps back from byeline. And if ball had gone out, why didn't he flag straight away? He only flagged when Alfies header hit the net. Dont know if VAR asked to have a look?
  24. I thought Borna looked unfit tonight and know he's missed a few recent games with a knock but as you say our full backs are crucial to how we play so can understand why he started. Tavs delivery was hit and miss, still not convinced his corner that Alfie "scored" from was out of play. Assuming VAR was checked? Great to see Kent back and hopefully he is back to his best (was impressive cameo appearance tonight).
  25. Looking at the group, depending on other results, a 1 goal victory over Prague may be sufficient to qualify.
