He's the Rangers manager so rightly or wrongly he's expected to win every game. Given out recent EL form, this is a very winnable match but one I can't see us winning which will heap more pressure (rightly or wrongly) on the manager. I think what we are all looking for is a reaction to a very poor start to the season. Be that change in personal, change of formation and a sign of a system that suits the players, is effective. Like you, I have other commitments tonight and for the 1st time in years I'm actually glad I'm not going tonight. Have no other plans for Sunday so planning to drag myself to Ibrox. However another Sunday type performance / result tonight and I might not bother. Absolutely scunnered with the manager, team and club at the moment.

I always thought Beale did, in fact he talked too much during them, a criticism he received on here (I can't be arsed searching back to see who complained about it on a weekly basis, but I have an inclination). Any criticism of Clements accent and general demeanor or are they not getting on your nerves or making him likeable? Clements recent press conferences have been bad - from reenacting penalties, reminding us that there are new players who are getting used to Rangers and Scottish football and now dismissive of questions from fan media. Sounds like a man who is realising his time is coming to an end.

Weirdly, you were very critical of Beale during his press conferences - why the change of stance?

At least he asked it fan media have being receiving some unfair criticism recently that they never ask the difficult questions or questions the fans want raised (the mainstream media aren't going to ask them). He may have given Clement an out, but it certainly rattled Clement (as did David Edgar a few weeks back) and Clement failed to answer either of the questions. Hopefully FLHAD will continue to use their platform to raise these type of questions. Clements press conferences are becoming as predictable, boring and cringy as Beales.

It means he's not suited to holding play up or link-up play. What he can do is score goals when ball is in the box and he takes Hearts penalties. Other than taking penalties, it's Dessers mark 2 (on a lesser wage). Dessers was scoring goals when Clement first took over and this was down to us getting the ball into the area from wide positions. We now play the long-ball far too often which means we lose possession. In our current system Shankland would be as ineffective as Dessers.

I'll try and dig the stats out, but Shankland was the player who lost possession the most in the SPL last season (whilst being top scorer a d player of the year). I posted a few weeks ago Shankland isn't happy with / at Hearts and it was noticeable that he wasn't being selected earlier in the season. I said last season, neither Dessers or Shankland are what we require, neither good enough I my opinion. Dessers is what we have so it's up to the manager to create a system that gets the best our of him and the rest of the squad. His current system clearly isn't working and hasn't been since March. He changed something in March that resulted in our form falling off a cliff and he's been unable or unwilling to change it back.
