  1. That is what Rangers are waiting for. We have booked the new manager for the grand re-opening.

That is not answering his question.
  3. Rinus Michels was classed as one of the best coaches in the world but the story goes that he came into the dressing room and gave a tactical speech and left. Johan Cruiff, Wim van Hanegem and Rinus israel then got up and said forget that here's how we are really going to play.
  4. Chris arsehole Commons for one.
  5. Yes I think it is a Thursday as well.
  6. I very much doubt Sky will be hoping we get knocked out we are far too much a moneymaker for them. I don't think it is Sky that is doing them out of money I think it is the SFA that is distributing the money differently. Probably most going to bail the SFA out of there financial problems.
  7. I am not anti Dave King but he either doesn't care what the supporters think or he is totally lost to the feelings of the supporters.
  8. Aberdeen want £800,000 before Rangers can meet Derek McInnes to discuss taking over at Ibrox McInnes is set to become subject of an official approach from Rangers Dons will only sanction talks if Rangers pay compensation figure up front Aberdeen boss has expressed unhappiness with how the saga has unfolded By John Mcgarry For The Scottish Daily Mail Aberdeen will demand to see the colour of Rangers' money before granting the Ibrox club permission to speak with Derek McInnes. Rangers are expected to finally approach the Dons this week with a view to kicking off negotiations with the 46-year-old about the possibility of succeeding Pedro Caixinha as their next permanent manager. Sportsmail understands, however, that Aberdeen will only sanction the talks if Rangers pay the stipulated £800,000 compensation figure up front – with the money being returned to them if negotiations break down further down the line. Ibrox sources insist the level of compensation, which will rise to over £1million if McInnes' assistant Tony Docherty joins him at Ibrox, is within their reach. Almost six weeks after Caixinha was fired, Rangers are finally preparing to make their move for the man who played for them between 1995 and 2000. Frustrated that the matter hasn't progressed since he was first linked with the post, the Dons boss took a swipe at the Ibrox club for their handling of the matter after his side lost to Rangers for the second time in four days on Sunday. While it seems likely that Rangers will be granted permission to speak with McInnes in the coming days, issues over staffing structures, proposed budgets and expectations mean his appointment is by no means cut and dried. Although a return to his boyhood heroes holds an obvious emotional pull, the former St Johnstone and Bristol City manager has never made any secret of how much he prizes the relationship he enjoys with Dons chairman Stewart Milne. Widely believed to be a shoo-in for the Sunderland job in the summer after the Black Cats kicked off talks with him, McInnes opted to stay in the Granite City. Five months on, Rangers will have to guarantee him adequate time and resources to challenge Celtic if he's to agree to draw a line under his four-year tenure in the North East. Speaking after his side delivered another sub-standard display in the 2-1 loss to 10-men Rangers at Pittodrie on Sunday, McInnes made his feelings on the saga clear. He stated: I'm not happy with how things have been played out. It hasn't been as straightforward as it should have been over the last few weeks.' Dons legend Willie Miller last night hit out at the circumstances McInnes has been forced to contend with in the weeks since Caixinha was shown the door. 'It is a ridiculous amount of speculation the Dons manager has had to work under and his players have had to cope with,' he said. Aberdeen keeper Joe Lewis claims speculation over McInnes future hasn't affected the team 'Speculation is not going away and is coming more forcefully than ever. 'I thought it would have died when McInnes made the statement recently to quash the rumours about Rangers, but it is back with a vengeance. 'The latest within Ibrox is that there will be some news coming and at least one way or another it will finally end the speculation.' Miller believes the situation has affected Aberdeen's preparations for two crucial matches against their arch rivals. 'It has not allowed the managers and players to get on with the job in hand without having this cloud of speculation and having to face the same questions over and over again,' he added. 'Rangers cannot allow the situation to drag on longer as it then makes the Ibrox board look like they don't know what they are doing.' Former Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson is reportedly in the frame to be McInnes' first-team coach if the deal goes through. Rangers meanwhile will appeal the red card Ryan Jack received during Sunday's win at Pittodrie. The midfielder was dismissed by referee Willie Collum for following through on a tackle with Stevie May. But the Ibrox club have lodged an appeal with the SFA with a fast track hearing set to be heard on Thursday — ahead of Saturday's game with Ross County. The 25-year-old, who joined from Aberdeen in the summer, has now seen red on four separate occasions this season although two of those – against Hibernian and Kilmarnock – were successfully appealed.
  9. Of better quality I hope.
  10. Sorry Bill I edited your post by mistake to change a fault in my post .I had used the referee twice. I never changed anything else. Apologies.
  11. If it is honest then it should be judged on what happened and not what the reaction is. I can see why the referee gave this as I also thought it was red at first. I don't even think a video referee would of helped here as the referee does not have the time to do it frame for frame.
  12. I am going to kill myself laughing if the board come away with someone that has never been on the radar.
  13. I must admit it was fantastic to see the players wearing their special laces.
  14. I cheated a bit taking 36 km\hour as there are 3600 seconds in an hour and 36000 metres in 36km. Not really that smart. Don't ask me to do a difficult one.
  15. Add jealousy of our success as the main reason.
  16. I have more frames but I don't think they add to the argument. I hope my maths are good here or I will take pelter's. The ball in the photo has travelled roughly 1 meter if you take it the ball was travelling about 36 km\hour which I think may be reasonable guess then it would have taken a decisecond 1\10 of a second from contact with the ball to contact with the leg. What can you do in a decisecond in reaction when you are already in motion.
  17. Sorry Cal i was also busy doing that when you posted obviously. I could have saved myself the time. Another thing is that if you look at the first and 3rd photo then May's leg has actually moved further than Jacks.
  18. Okay I am changing my mind on this.and here is why. This is the first contact Jack had with the ball. In the second photo you can see the ball has moved a short distance. in the 3rd photo is the moment of contact with the leg the ball has only travelled about a metre since being kicked. The thing is that May's body shape is also the exact same from start to finish and that his foot has actually came forward halving the distance. If Jack was supposed to do a millisecond turn around why did May not change as he saw far earlier that Jack was getting the ball and had more time to react. What happened after that made it look worse but I see no way Jack could have pulled out of that. Just my new opinion.
  19. I think it was obvious that Pedro had lost the dressing room and he was never going to get this squad going. Murty seems to have pulled everyone together although I do wonder what will happen if he replaces Miller with Morelos as he should. Will he have a dressing room rebellion.
  20. This was Maddison last season and you will see he had roughly the same starting position but the ball actually hit the post and went in. Foderingham actually travelled further and had a better attempt to get the ball last season. That is a perfect free-kick although I still question his start position.
  21. He is left of the penalty spot. If people get bored talking about Rangers then maybe a discussion forum is not the place for them. I will agree the penalty stuff may be boring but surely the performance of a player is discussable?
  22. Look at his starting position. If you take the centre pole for the net he is actually to the left of that. As I said the chances it was going to the far corner are pretty low. He could have been at least a yard more to his right. Looking at this photo you can see the ball is not even in the corner and what distance does he come too short? Yes the distance that he was at the left side of the goal. Sorry his start position is just totally wrong and he should have learned from last season. I will also add the wall was more of a hindrance than a help for him. Two or three men were plenty from there in my opinion..
  23. I watched it again on Sportscene and that was a ball he should have had. Unfortunately all other teams now know his weak point. Free kick experts will be wetting themselves to get a go.
  24. You are completely wrong. A keeper who dosn't anticipate and move will never be a professional keeper.
