I saw Martin McGuinness on Hardtalk(BBC) a few days ago and he admitted that there was a young generation in Ireland wanting to take up the IRA weapons again. Unfortunately this is not lol or wink smiley post but a possible insight into the end of the peace process. I say let the green brigade show their faces. Maybe his demands are above a reasonable level. Is it possible that it is him that is playing hard ball? If we raise his salary to new heights then we are possibly opening the flood gates again. I don't know i am just mentioning a possibility.

Gist of the story is that the chairman of Twente has not had any contact with anyone but is accepting that Janssen is going. Twente have virtually signed his replacement Willem Janssen from Roda so they don't even have to buy new shirts.

I lost my Sky package so i depend on czech sport1 to show the games. I gave up watching streams as they are so frustrating and the radio is a better option for my blood pressure.

That he will be leaving in January is highly likely as he has stated many times he has seen enough of Dutch football and wants to try life abroad.Whether sunny Glasgow is what he is thinking of i don't know Twente want to get some cash for him rather than he walks transfer free away. . I think VI have enough insight and info into what is going on that i am pretty certain that Rangers have made an inquiry or have had scouts watching him. We have been looking for a left footed midfielder for years so that also fits in. At 3.5 mill Euro's he is in the price range we could afford. As i said i think he will end up in Germany, and certainly if McClaren keeps his job. As for the step up to the EPL i don't know, he is 29 already so it would need to happen quickly. He is a good player but was an enfant terrible in the past so he will have to be coached correctly. He has matured for himself to be honest. We will have to wait and see for the rest but as Ally said i won't be holding my breath until he comes.

Does that mean that if it went to clear the debt Whyte or someone could buy us for much less than was first thought or would the MIH share go up to keep the same price. If so Murray could see it as a nice leaving present.

To be honest i can see him ending up somewhere in Germany but the guy from Voetbal International stated in a video interview that Rangers were certainly interested. VI don't normally talk shite they are well up on what is going on within Dutch clubs.

Voetbal International the biggest football magazine in Holland are saying that Wolfsburg Panathinaikos and Rangers are in for Theo Janssen in the January window. Wolfsburg with Steve McClaren will probably be favourites to sign him though. That is if McClaren makes the Winter stop as the Wolfsburg manager. Janssen has a clause in his contract that lets him go for 3.5 mill euro's. Janssen has already scored 6 goals this season from the midfield. Agree. Rich people don't give away money for nothing. He will fit in somewhere with the revamp of the Ibrox area being the obvious conclusion. -
I am afraid i don't share that view i just want the best players possible for Rangers, no matter what religion or creed.

God no let's not get back to those sort of restrictions. These two Celtic minded youngsters have brought Rangers at least 2.5 million pound in for our troubles. Not a bad investment.

Just for the info ex-Ranger Peter Huistra has fc Groningen lying in 3rd place in the Dutch Ere divisie. From what i have seen of him he also has a Walter type stature being always neatly dressed with Blazer and club tie and always politely spoken. He has Groningen punching above their weight if you look at the budgets of the clubs around them,and they sit above even the mighty Ajax.

A win is worth +\- 700.000 pounds so it is certainly worth playing for a win. Walter will play the only way he knows though so it will be the 5-4-1 and hoping to hit them on the break.
