I felt sorry for Weiss. He kept picking up the ball to take the free kicks he had earned and then McCulloch(I think) and Davis pulled it back off him.

They can't even get Bloodstained right.(Bloostained) I don't think I have ever seen a Celtic display that doesn't have a massive blunder in it. Pricks. -

St Mirren 1 - 3 Rangers: Player Ratings and MoM Poll
pete replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Over the whole game Naismith was the best player but lafferty made the difference when he came on so i am happy to give it to lafferty. To be honest i think the swipe at the ref is a bit unfair. He did make a mistake with the goal but the best angle to see that was from a camera with zoom lens from the touchline. The ref did not have that option. The Linesman may have saw it but as for the ref he\they were looking through a mass of players and given all the trouble I doubt many linesmen will be making many influential decisions in the near future. Does the rule still exist: If in doubt the defensive team get the advantage? As for the penalty I can actually see why the ref gave it. Davis did move his arm away from his body allowing the ball to pass between his body and his arm. The ref probably judged the movement to be a blocking movement. I have seen more dubious penalties been given. I actually felt the ref had a pretty decent game although he could have applied the advantage rule a bit better on occasions. -
Seriously, I had a nightmare with only R&C results correct. not the scores of course.

You cheat!

He said last week they were on the right track and that people just needed patience. i just wonder how much patience the Aberdeen chairman will have?

I put the German football on at 4. I can't listen to them running amok.
-
on RS they said Hartley's handball was to stop a goal bound shot and Langfield should have been sent off at the second. I haven't seen them so i can't judge.

Shagger is far better than Stekelenburg.

As Arsenal were midweek?

Maybe just Maybe they were legitimate penalties. Lets not drop to their level.

Why should we tarnish our beautiful nature and country side:confused:. Parkhead ticket office is the place. Let them witness the smell.

I am actually edging towards Danny's price on this one. Given shaggers performances against Spain and in the CL, not forgetting some super saves in the league, then i think we should be pointing out Gordon's 9mill transfer and explaining Mcgregor has ousted Gordon at International level and is worth more. I know i said different a few weeks ago but the financial world and McGregors form are both in the lift.

I think what has happened at Feynoord is the perfect example that a team of young players no matter the amount of talent is going to struggle. Feynoord are completely skint and are playing mostly young players. They went down the road many believed we would have to in promoting youth players instead of buying. They are now harbouring near the bottom of the league and lost 10-0 to PSV.(That was a one off fluke imo). For me the best way to bring the youth through is to play them when the game is won or for a striker you can always say come on son we need a goal run your guts out for a half hour PS The next batch of Feynoord Youth are supposed to be of a really good class having won the league at all levels.

Funny as soon as he mentioned an independent referee to lead a probe my first thought was jeff Winter before I read him mentioning it.

Oh Yeh, Aiden is oirish.

I guess he is using the topic as an advert to push his after dinner speaking. Talk about dodgy ref's and the bookings will come flying in from the paranoia brigade. he will be telling them that the ref's poisoned the spuds next.

Unfortunately my Sky connection has crashed so i couldn't watch the Rangers game. I listened to it on BBC Radio until i got pissed off and looked at the Twenty score. That was funnily enough just as Frings got sent off. While Twenty had the best chances in the first half as well yes the sending off was the turning point. Take into account Twenty lost their two most important midfielders and had to play 2 youth players in midfield then it was a fantastic result for them. Some were hoping Rangers would get them in the CL well thank god we didn't.

Of course it is but i enjoyed that.
