  1. So,if we win the bounce game these players will get their confidence back ?, even if they play shite ?.I think playing well is more important, which you can do and still lose, and is more likely to give you confidence. This is going nowhere
  2. There is the dream of Europe: Thousands of fans line the streets of Glasgow, Scotland, cheering wildly as the team bus makes its way to Ibrox Stadium. In the stands, 30,000 Rangers supporters are waiting, giddy with appreciation as the players make their triumphant stroll around the field. In the middle of it all, two American stars wave the U.S. flags that some folks in the crowd just handed to them, as if the Scottish Premier League championship they've just helped deliver were as important as the liberation of Paris. Then again, there is the reality of Europe: It's Christmastime, and Ibrox is filled for Rangers vs. Celtic, one of the fiercest rivalries in all of sports, so intense and profitable that it's known as the Old Firm. But the home team just lost, and those Rangers fans are angry. "Disgraceful," they're saying. "Absolute shite." As for the two Americans? They could do nothing about it. Because they're injured, or had been injured and lost their starting spot. Or they're not injured but aren't training well. Or they are training well, but ... who the hell knows? Bottom line, they're not playing. And the longer they don't play, the more they see that other dream -- the one about playing for the U.S. in the 2010 World Cup -- slowly slipping away. This, right now, is the world of DaMarcus Beasley and Maurice Edu and, at various times, of nearly every other American who has played soccer for a European club. Best of times. Worst of times. A tale of two continents. Celtic..... man sent off and penalty. Paranoia..... No, just a lifetime of seeing that lot get the decisions that we don't.

Member Member #13,021 Joined: 16 December 2007 Even despite the best efforts of the referee we should have won this game comfortbaly. Loovens has become a liabilty every time he steps foot on the park now, Hinkel was very poor today and I thought Boruc had a bit of a stinker as well. His kicking in particular was terrible. The decision to send of Caldwell was laughable if it wasn`t so serious. Can anyone honestly say that was more of a penalty than the one we should have had against Hearts at Cp? or any of the 3 we didn`t get at Ibrox. As for deeming it a red card offence. Truly amazing. Two minutes added on was another act of either blatant cheating or downright incompetence. 5 second half subs equals 2 minutes 30 seconds. Add on the time wasting tactics by Hearts and we should have been looking at at least 5 or 6 minutes. Never a free kick that eventually led to their goal but yet again we are undone by our own ineptitude at the back and dubious,at best, refereeing decisions.
  20. Boyd 13,Miller 10..........I think

Just not clinical enough - its like wathing a slow motion replay at times with Sammy and McDonald. Fortune is the only one of the 3 who looks like he can make quick turns or fire a shot in when the keepers not expecting it. Unlucky with McGeady's shot off the post and Fortune's header across the goal which came off the post and straight in to the hands of the keeper with 2 McManus and Sammy waiting t tap it in - but that would onlz have got us a point. What are the rules regarding red card....is it "denial of a clear goal scoring" chance or simply "last man"? Terrible defending at the penalty, but it was soft at the and I am sure that Loovens was closing in, so cant see how its the "last man" option. But we should know that any chance the refs can get to help the huns in their time of need they will be more than eager to take it.

We need three stonewallers to get one penalty. Referees don't give fouls that are right in front of them. The ref blowing for time, and the time added this week. The amount of bookings. It's like they've clubbed together to help the huns with some more European money. I'd like to see TM make more of this.
