If they think we’ll blink and go away they are labouring under an incredible delusion.” Cairney, 83, was jailed for four years in February for abusing eight players. Torbett, 71, got six years in November for abusing three lads — 20 years after an earlier jail term. City’s payouts will benefit victims of predator coaches Barry Bennell and John Broome. Celtic declined to comment but referred to a statement released after Torbett’s conviction.
