  1. Over on kerrydale st one of them offered the opinion that Rangers were now looking a real threat and that they might lose at Ibrox. He was quickly tarred and feathered for introducing some reality to their bubble. The first defeat at our hands will send them into a frenzy.
  2. And as if that's unusual when we play them or anybody at all for that matter. Straight off the top of my head this comes to mind. A foul that never was getting them a late winner. And if we just once get a close or bad call in our favour then it's all a conspiracy. Even before this latest match they were predicting that they would be getting bookings and red cards early doors from bias refereeing. Then when that doesn't transpire it's all forgotten until prior to the next game when it will be repeated. EDIT: Like how the new website still embeds the video when you set it to start at a specific time. The old one didn't.
  3. One report stated that he got a round of applause initiated by Murty in the dressing room .
  4. Pretty much agree aside from maybe they looked garbage because we were just too god for them? We had pace to burn in comparison to them which all on it's own made them look bad.
  5. Definitely looks to have some potential. Looks strong and has some pace plus I noticed that in his assist against us he didn't even waste time looking up before making the pass. Good positional awareness and he did the same thing in the goal he scored against Motherwell. Just ran wide to get past the defender and whacked it in from an acute angle without wasting even a fraction of a second to look up.
  6. That part stood out for me. I don't begrudge him an aspiration to play in a bigger league, which young guy wouldn't want to? And if we can get "a barrowload of cash – and a big barrowload" for him he can leave with my thanks for his contribution both in goals and our finances. Hopefully Cummings develops into a ready made replacement and we then use a chunk of the barrowload to find another Morelos.
  7. To be honest I wouldn't bet on it either I simply feel that all things being equal we now should. And now that this one is out of the way my next worry is Ross County. Are we still going to struggle to break down a 10 man wall? The defensive display tonight was encouraging though and hopefully it's a sign we wont be throwing away too many silly goals to these SPL wall builders.
  8. But does that mean they're good or simply that they grind out results against the poor opposition this league contains? To my mind McInnes is as good a manager as they can hope to get but their following want him sacked because he can't beat better teams. If that were rational the yahoos should be screaming for the sacking of Rogers because he can't beat PSG etc.
  9. Didn't even think of Kenny Miller, dunno if that was lax of me. But anyway, Bruno Alves, Ross McCrorie, Graeme Dorrans, Ryan Jack, Jordan Rossiter. All that alone is a massive squad boost before even putting Greg Docherty into the equation. I suspect our injury list would walk into their team.
  10. Don't know about you but I would be surprised if we don't pull away from them now. That was a relatively patchwork team riddled with injuries and containing a bunch of new signings making their debut. Returning injured and the newbies getting some games under their belts will put us even further ahead of them. I foresee us pulling even further ahead of them with each passing window.
  11. A post on their forum just minutes ago. He must be really keen on that million a year.
  12. At the time I wanted him to come but now i'm content with the way it panned out.
  13. Well that being the case he has no ambition aside from building a retirement fund. Hubz is actually a better job for someone like him in anyw ays. They don't have the impossible delusions of grandeur the sheep have had since a brief purple patch under SAF 30 years ago. Hubz actually have some scope for improvement while having no illusions of being a title contender while they think they're contenders which they will absolutely never be again.
  14. They're scarcely third best in Scotland. Their fans are so far out of touch with reality they were declaring they had a better transfer window than us. And that somehow it's "agent McInnes" fault that we beat them. The reality is we're simply a far better team and another reality is I will never understand why McInnes decided to stay with them. They have no respect for him and it's a dead end job for any young manager with real ambition.
  15. And how many times do we need to dominate and beat them to put an end to 'second best in Scotland' line.
  16. I think the team in general are getting better all the time. This was all the more impressive given that it was the first competitive match in weeks and included a clutch of debutantes.
  17. We're streets ahead of them and clearly demonstrating it at last.
  18. Yeeha, I got the FGS correct. That was coming from someone. Let's continue in this vein and put it out of their reach.
  19. Got them well under the cosh. Need to score. Surely coming.
  20. I suspect you're more confident than they are. I had a look at their forum and the bulk of them foresee a drubbing.
  21. Not only do Accies badly need the money they need to follow through with this because this is an instance where the boy who is a Rangers fan really would be unsettled if it didn't come to pass. I was also thinking that to seal the deal if Rossiter really is up and running Hamilton would be an ideal place for a loan till the end of the season. He may struggle to get into our team to build essential match fitness while at Accies he would be an automatic first 11 pick. They get a replacement midfielder while they adjust to the loss of Docherty and we get a player back in the Summer fully fit.
  22. Danny Wilson is being lined up for a move away from Glasgow Rangers, according to the Scottish Sun. Major League Soccer clubs are reportedly preparing 'lucrative' offers for Wilson, whose contract is up at the end of the current season. Wilson, 26, has started the last 11 league matches in a row for Rangers and has been a key figure under Graeme Murty. The Light Blues should not allow Wilson's contract to get to the summer unsigned, and this should be a wake up call for the club. With veteran Bruno Alves frequently injured, Wilson has been a very reliable centre-back for Rangers and impressed in the goalless draw against Celtic on December 30. Letting him leave would be an error, but if Rangers do not offer Wilson a competitive salary then understandably he will weigh up the best offers he has, whether this be a MLS move or a return to England. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/01/23/report-rangers-regular-danny-wilson-lined-up-for-mls-transfer/
  23. I have always doubted any personal bias from referees creeping into it but that hibs match came close to making me a conspiracy nut on the issue.
  24. Think he's just a tad nervous which is understandable.
