  1. And yet he's the highest scorer in any SPL team. The same was said of Windass until the past few weeks and the thing is a player has to be getting himself into positions to have a shot at all to be missing. I would say the opposition rate him highly enough to give him special attention which by itself creates space for others to get into. There is no way he will be dropped next week but I too would like to see Cummings start with him.
  2. It's hit rock bottom when even the opposition know and concede it's hit rock bottom. Copied from a Falkirk forum and this wasn't the only comment in this vein.
  3. Yes indeed.
  4. I doubt we will be so cavalier against them as we are against the rest and we kept a clean sheet in our last encounter with them. Their defence is going to be tested to the max against the highest scoring team in the league.
  5. Just always brings me back to what may now be the classic example. If this doesn't get a red card which it didn't it looks as if nothing short of a stabbing might.
  6. It's going to be important to start well and fast next week. Put them under pressure and on the back foot from the off. Silence their menagerie.
  7. For the first time in a long time they're going to be coming to Ibrox with trepidation rather than confidence.
  8. If we can put out the strongest available 11 and i'm including Murphy in that I believe if we continue in the recent vein of form we can absolutely terrorise them.
  9. And if it's not it's a fix of course despite the fact we're regularly drawn against them in semis.
  10. I suspect he must have seen it. Surely wouldn't be carding a man just because an opponent was lying on the ground. If that were to be the case he would be carding all day long.
  11. Stadium looks full. Contrast that to the sheep match yesterday and keep in mind they were playing SPL opposition while we're playing Championship Falkirk.
  12. Yep. Brain typing what I expected rather than what happened. LOL
  13. Hearts scraped a 2-1 with a late winner. EDIT: Sorry Motherwell did.
  14. Falkirk have the second worst defence in the Championship. Something is amiss if we don't hit at least as many as we did against SJ last week.
  15. It’s a peculiar situation in that in a number of ways they can afford a defeat less than we can. If we were to lose we would simply continue on a quest for second place which is the best most expected at the beginning of the season. On the other hand if they lose we would be pulling into touching distance of a title they appeared to have wrapped up months ago. To top it all off the superiority bubble would be burst and the pressure on Rogers would markedly increase. It’s a pity the sheep were too crap to take something from them recently.
  16. I think previous results against them have little bearing on next weeks match. We haven't had such a consistent run nor such quality in depth since our return to the SPL. We're the form team in that league in every way right now.
  17. If he were to win next week then against all odds win this league or even run it close it would be difficult for the board not to give him the nod. If they didn't then a new manager had a a few contrary results as he settled in the screams of sack the manager and the board would be deafening.
  18. I see not a scrap of sense in risking him on Sunday in the circumstances. We will win at a canter on Sunday without him.
  19. I sense there’s a degree of fear developing in the yahoo camp. They’re struggling to grind out results while we’re blowing the opposition out of the water in high scoring rampages.
  20. It's a masonic conspiracy. They have a weather machine you know.
  21. Was far from ideal conditions and yet we still hit 4. The team appears to be moving beyond the inconsistency that has plagued our season and judging from tonight I can foresee a goal avalanche against Falkirk.
  22. I think Mardona was better than Messi. He carried Napoli who were no giants of the game to multiple Italian league titles. Napoli had never won a title before and just a few years prior to his arrival had been in a relegation battle. I feel that is more impressive than winning titles and trophies with Barcelona. He carried a distinctly average Argentina team to a 1986 world cup win. Something Messi couldn't manage. And of course the 'goal of the century' in the same tournament.
