  1. Seven goals for 2 against. Undefeated and 0 goals lost away from home. The Stevie G express doesn't just steam on it gathers pace.
  2. We appear to be a lot more organised than in recent times. Given that fact I would expect a list of targets already in place and only the negotiating left to be done.
  3. Gerrard has previously said that the amount of transfer activity was dependent on how far we went in Europe. If we make the groups I think we can be confident there will be more activity. Could be looking at a £10 million windfall no one expected.
  4. This mocker for just one.
  5. His forthrightness is outstanding and what a slap in the face for the mockers who labeled him an 'under 18's coach' He has proven he can build a team then deploy them fittingly for different challenges. No one including the board thought we would find ourselves in this position but I would wager that Gerrard had confidence all along. It's in his DNA.
  6. Sums up my feelings right now.
  7. I think Maribor had him marked out as a weak link early on since they knew he was effectively a third choice. But all credit to him, he did the job asked of him and wasn't the bomb scare many of us thought he might be.
  8. The hubz have blocked any visitors to their forum ?
  9. I thought Morelos had virtually an open goal near the end and blazed it high over.
  10. I'm now more confident than ever of getting past Ufa. They entered at the 2nd QR where they drew 0-0 at home with Domzale, a Slovenian side who have a ground capacity of 3,100 then drew 1-1 away to go through on away goals. This round just narrowly got past Progres. This wasn't even our strongest 11 out there tonight and if we get past Ufa it doesn't matter who we get in the groups. We never dreamed we would be there anyway.
  11. Are the toughest tests now behind us? Last season there is absolutely no way we would have got past either Osijek or Maribor.
  12. Ejaria off Kent on.
  13. The ustream one is working perfectly. Got it from a Rangers fans abroad facebook page. Only 27 currently watching it so no lagging.
  14. Doesn't surprise me, they're nothing like as good as they think they are. Or maybe now thought they were. On their forum they have actually been talking about a title challenge. The disconnect from reality is stunning.
  15. I don't want their money right now unless it's funny money. And I mean hysterically funny. We're building a team and Morelos is contracted for another 3 years. Plenty time to cash in.
  16. No disrespect to Wes but the more games we play the more confident I feel with McGregor standing in that goal.
  17. Still comfortably in the driving seat. Maribor appear reluctant to go all out because they know we can break fast. If it stays like this they're going to be forced to go all out at some point.
  18. Yep, I see this as the most important game we have played in many years. This can be a massive turning point on the journey we have been through. And a point we didn't even expect to reach this season.
  19. I don't really care about that paper cup so it wouldn't bother me if he fielded a second string at Kilmarnock. Though in saying that I do want the unbeaten run to continue.
  20. We probably couldn't have rigged a passage to the group stages much better than this. Get through tonight and it might be said that the toughest obstacles on the road to the groups are already behind us. Who would have thought it just a couple of months ago when we brought in a 'rookie under 18's coach' to great derision from the Scottish media but not from England.
  21. Why wouldn't he? Seems the rest of their followers do.
  22. Charlie Nicholas concerned at prospect of Steven Gerrard's Rangers Charlie Nicholas has told Sky Sports News (Thursday 12:30pm) that he is concerned as a Celtic fan that Rangers are beginning to close the gap under Steven Gerrard. Gerrard has made an unbeaten start to life as Rangers manager, picking up four wins as well as three draws against Aberdeen with 10 men, FK Shkupi in Macedonia and NK Osijek. The Gers currently sit ahead of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership by a point after Celtic lost 1-0 to Hearts on Saturday, in what was the start of a dismal week at Parkhead. Nicholas, who played for Celtic during two spells, is concerned that Rangers are closing the gap between the two Old Firm sides ahead of the first clash between the bitter rivals on September 2. “I am concerned that if Rangers get a bit of momentum, they will close this gap,” Nicholas said. “They lost seven home games last season. That won’t happen this season. “It’ll be a harder place to go and win. People are already looking to September 2 and saying, is this going to be a test? Well it will be. As a Celtic fan, I am concerned because Gerrard will close this gap." Celtic have suffered a loss to Hearts as well as an exit from the Champions League following a loss to AEK Athens, with Brendan Rodgers frustrated at a lack of summer activity. The saga surrounding Dedryck Boyata remains. Rangers meanwhile are going strength to strength and are expected to progress past Slovenian outfit Maribor into the Europa League play-off round on Thursday night, where they will face either FC Ufa or Progres Niederkorn. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/08/16/celtic-fan-charlie-nicholas-concerned-at-prospect-of-steven-gerr/
