Why? Their TV money isn't EPL , £6.7m apparently. An when talking season tickets we have sold more than twice as many as Leeds and Leeds will have no European income at all plus all things being equal have brief cup runs. I would also hazard a guess that we can massively outsell any Championship club and most EPL teams too in terms of merchandising. What extra income do they have we don't?

I think we may be able to compete with most Championship clubs outside those who have just dropped down in the past 2 or 3 years and are receiving parachute payments. EPL clubs can still make a profit running into tens of millions if they had no gate money at all. So given they do have gate money they can be flush with cash for a few years afterwards even without the bonus of parachute payments.
