    Crocker: "Celtic have ten first team players out with some very prominent players. Mind you Rangers have had similar problems". Surely we're suffering more? If they had McGeady and 3 or 4 other of their best players out then fair enough. Makes it sound like the only reason we're ahead is because they've been hit worse with injury/suspension. Who are the ten anyway?

    I reckon if Celtic win today (which I believe they will) that will give them all the confidence and motivation to win both games in hand and reduce the gap to 4 points. Whilst the draw was probably a decent point yesterday I think it will see Celtic claw back two points in the gap. I usually expect them to win games in hand, like they would no doubt expect of us. And I don't see Saints or Killie proving me wrong. Would love either side to make me look very foolish though.

    Has helped them into a play off spot, scoring 12 goals from midfield and playing well. Players move for silly money from the Championship to the EPL all the time. WOuldn't be suprised if he moved for a few mil. Hope all the "i'd bite their hand off" crew are feeling rather stupid now.

    Aye, true. Just don't like the idea of giving Celtic any more motivation than they need ahead of their games. Could have piled the pressure on them by being ten points clear. Now they know if they win their games in hand it will be down to "just" 4.

    Ah well. With Celtic unexpectedly dropping points in addition to our weak squad atm I'll try and take today's game as a freebie even if Celtic make up the points they dropped against Falkirk by winning tomorrow. The lack of key players was going to tell sometime soon.

    Well Pete is lucky enough to be going to Dortmund - Hamburg. I'm choosing between the Chelsea game and Motherwell - St Mirren. Lol. Shall I be loyal to Scottish football and watch the likely crappier game; might also give me a greater appreciation of the qualities of our opponents.

    Disappointing there was a leak when it had been asked to be kept quiet, though the early publicity may help as suggested above. Also good riddance to Rothen. Paying him �£18,000 yet we quibbled over the same fee with Boyd. if we ahdn't got his laon maybe we could have gone to �£20k for Boydie.

    I was just gonna say that if an EPL player scored that they'd be raving about it for weeks. I never saw the other goals though.

    I hear Whittaker won it this week. I'm pretty sure Boogie's v Stuttgart won it that week too. I think we might actually have won it a few times this season.

    With O'Neil saying he's not interested the idea he was at Villa Park being courted by the Leprechaun reeks of bullshit.

    The night of the match everyone (mostly fans quoting dodgy media sources) was adamant he was being wined and dined in club hospitality. Yet today O'Neil has been quoted as saying he's not interested. They can't both be right.

    Raiding Scandinavia for all their signings. Replacing tried and tested with unproven players. Odd signing policy at this stage of the season.
