Think it's a ridiculous decision. They were several goals to the good when it occured and did not really affect the outcome. I also think there are precedents, if not in Scotland in British football, of teams getting away with a fine. The guy came on as a sub when the game was over as a contest. A fine and slap on the wrists was in order imo. Had he started the game and the scoreline was closer fair enough but I think this is the SFA (or whoever) showing they can be hard when they need to. Easier to tackle a "wee" team than deal with big teams where they would be more likely to wimp out. And that was my p.o.v. before I knew about Celtic's by which is even more ridiculous. Surely at the very least should have reinstated the defeated opponents in place of Dunfermline. Although that would still be a stick on Celtic victory it would require them to negotiate another fixture and cup tie rather than the farce of a bye.

If I thought we could exert pressure on the bank I'd be all for it. I was just making the point that there is absolutely no reason, legal or otherwise, for the bank to tell anyone what they want. Though giving potential buyers a ballpark figure may facilitate negotiations.

Seems reasonable to me that they should let interested parties know what they are looking for and i'm sure they have. Unfortunately, much as we would like it, I see no reason for them to make some public declaration to appease our fans.

My post was a blatant wind up mate, hence the smiley. I'd prefer fans to have your view where they back the players out on the field to the hilt. And I suspect, despite the griping on here, most Gersnetters give all the team their full support at the ground. It is easy to see why people are losing patience with Lafferty. Hopefully performances on the field can turn that around. -

Good to see a wee video of the youths and I see from the squad list there was a few in Turkey who should hopefully be looking to make the step up soon like Greg Wylde. Playing against Youth teams from other big European sides must be better than playing St Mirren kids/reserves. How on earth did you find that video btw?

I was going on the fact that Cameroon are traditionally one of Africa's stronger nations. Good to see that I was not mistaken here (due to my ignorance of their game) and that indeed it was a game they should be expected to win. Watched bits of the Ivory Coast and was shocked they didn't score against Bikini Fatso (Lmao).

Whilst I don't think Lafferty will ever likely look a �£4mil player or prove he can play at a level above what he is struggling with now, I think it's clear to see he's playing below what he is capable of and this next month or so is the perfect opportunity to show what he has in his locker. Here's hoping he grabs this chance with both hands as Rangers need the fringe men to step up while we're missing some key players.

I was a bit disappointed in his comments and thought he had been a bit daft. But I didn't agree with the lengths the media and some fans are going to attack him. And that was without even considering the possible scenario BD has suggested, which I wouldn't put past our dodgy media.

The only good thing about this is it will shut up those fans who like to bash anything and one Scottish and bum up anything foreign. Cameroon losing to Gabon is a poor result surely?

It's is naive, no a bit ridiculous in fact, to expect the club to come out and chastise Lafferty for his recent media comments in retaliation to a muppet like Nicholas. No club or manager would do that and I don't understand what anyone thinks we have to gain from it.
