Seems to be a pretty big point that is being ignored. If you feel so passionately that it should be Rangers songs only sung, then start bloody singing them and you'll get loads of support. Far easier (and more likely) way of getting your way then merely moaning about the guys who do create atmosphere.

Might be wrong but don't think they could register them to play until the window opens again. Actually, thinking on it, I believe it depends on when that players registration was last held by a club. If they've been released since the last one closed they couldn't be registered I dont think. Still not much of a real punishment in any case as almost zero business is done out with the windows.

I was pointing out that is ridiculous for society or individuals to choose their behaviours based solely on whimsical people who have the lowest tolerance to perceived offences. I dont want praise. That's why I added "or even recognition". But if they're going to pillory us for it when there are many teams who were equally as bad, and now it can be argued are in fact worse, for being offensive then commenting on us cleaning up our act significantly should not be too much. It appears it largely is. One or two examples of a little praise or recognition does not make up for the far greater amounts of grief we still cop for it.

We've been doing the self policing and cleaning up our act bit for years. And for the most part done a pretty good fucking job. But there's been little praise or even recognition of this and little to no turning of media, police and public attention to any of the other serial offenders. So whats the fucking point? We don't do much wrong at all these days and if people singing against Political parties or terrorists upsets others, well so fucking what?

To be honest my own preference would be to pull it but the MO of this forum is to allow free speech and expression where ever possible. So whilst it's a view very few appear to support currently it stands. Better to debate with people I guess than ban opinions we don't agree with.

If you knew bluedell better (in forum terms) I think you would realise it is unfair to question his judgement (re: the kitten comment) and suggest he will defend the UBs come what may due to some sort of attachment to the group or an inability to judge them logically. He's just standing up for a view point he believes in.
