  1. I've very excited but also extremely wary until we know much more about what is happening in the short and long term. Tomorrow should be a great day at Ibrox irrespective of such worries. Let's hope the team keep their eye on the ball and deliver three points.
  2. Craig: Does this suggest there is written proof that WT will not pursue RFC for the debt in the future? The statement seems open to interpretation - just how long is the 'foreseeable' future? Do we pay them interest until such time they deem it safe to 'waive' the debt?
  3. It's certainly open to interpretation mate. The debt is off our books but we don't know if we'll be paying WT for the privilege and/or for how long. It does say this debt will be waived at some point but is this guaranteed?
  4. You're asking the wrong man Points ---> @Bluedell
  5. MIH are suggesting WT are to waive the debt in the future...
  6. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/247592-statement-from-sir-david-murray-in-full/ I believe there is more though according to this site: http://www.sportinglife.com/football/scottishpremier/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/11/05/06/SOCCER_Rangers_Murray.html
  7. It appears Phil Betts may be the key to this.
  8. Probably but would his strategy have been any different from that of the existing board?
  9. I just can't believe that Whyte et al won't have planned for a worst case scenario. Tax tribunal ended today IIRC so we should know more within 6 weeks.
  10. I've updated my article of last week: - Welcome to Rangers, Mr Whyte - Let the interrogation begin http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/2010/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=410:welcome-to-rangers-mr-whyte&catid=1:articles&Itemid=67
  11. FFS, I can't believe you've let BD win this...
  12. Definitely not Dillon! Dixon is a decent left back but like Wallace at Hearts is better going forward than defending. I think Papac offers a better balance but perhaps a freshness there may be agreeable for next season. Swanson and Russell were both superb at Ibrox the other week while Goodwillie is a fine prospect. Conway I'm less enthused by and I'd want him least despite his greater experience. Generally, I'd hope we can set our sights higher than any of these players.

    Poor Wee Celtic

There have been a few cracking jokes doing the rounds by text. I hope we can save a few more for 10 days time! Come on the bears!
  14. Agree with this completely. I don't think I've ever wanted to win a title as much as this one.
  15. Three in a row will do just fine for now thanks...
  16. We seem to be working properly again...
  17. Such issues seem to be spreading...
  18. Unfortunately we're having a few issues server-side so our back-up forum is open for the moment until we can fix the site in full Apologies! http://gersnet.proboards.com/
  19. Looks like it won't be done tonight according to STV - ach well Friday is ideal!
  20. We just won't know until we find out what his plans are. Too many questions for now but hopefully this will be a positive new era for Scotland's most successful football club.
  21. Johnston's performance as a director/chairman is debatable but I'd agree I'd much rather these people didn't agree to anything until they were completely sure. And I'd also like to think if they still didn't agree, they'd resign immediately if the deal was being pushed through despite their concerns. The fact he isn't suggests he's happy.
  22. #Rangers Chairman Alastair Johnston says he expects #CraigWhyte to complete his takeover of the club within the next 24 hours Liam McLeod - BBC
  23. To be fair Walter won't be here next season so Weiss may play more in his natural position. Much of his best work came when he was in a free role such as against 'Well on Boxing day.
