I would probably agree with pretty much everthing there Jon. Can't think of any you've missed. I actually thought when McCulloch signed, he would be best playing up front but when he has, he's otimpressed me. I like the darche and if he can stay fit next season I thik he has a big role to play, but I've also heard snippets about him being allowed to leave. Can't rememebr where i saw that though or how reliable it is.

I would imagine in both cases it'll be the next team in the respective domestic leagues.

Was it worthwhile letting him go? I ask because, yeah, we got 9million for him, but with him I think we would've won the league and gone striaght into the group stage of the Champ league. In the first half of the season he was our most potent attacking force. We could still have sold him for 9mil and maybe even got more. I thought it at the time and in hindsight even more that it was a huge mistake letting him leave in january.

I said it sounds as if he MAY be decent. The interest being shown in him (Betis, Newcastle etc) and the fact he has become a fans favourite. If I had seen or heard of him I might have been able to make a stronger argument than may!:uzi:
