  1. I thought Ronaldo was a nancy-boy clown of a footballer?
  2. And well deserved it is too. That's not a bad team.
  3. Gera would be a cracking signing. Couple I've thought about are David Healy - I think in Scotland he would match Boyd for goals and his hold up play seems better than Boyds and El-Hadji Diouf. He's wanting a new challenge and he is a very good player. Really hope McShagger doesn't go, can't see us getting an as good replacement. Stevenso from Hibs looks a very good player but the only point in signing him is if he is gonna play. No point in another Alan Gow situation. If we do sign Lovenkrands and Miller then those 2 plus Beasley will be a very pacy front 3 but where exactly are the goals coming from? As for Barry Ferguson, I would take aything for him. He is a liability to the team. He seems to thik martyring himself for the team is a better idea than admitting he's unfit and letting a player who can contibute take his place.
  4. Superb advert.
  5. His step/half brother got done a while ago. I think it was some racially motivated murder in Liverpool. Not sure exactly, my mind could be playing tricks. Joey is a wee dick though. Wish the Tims had signed him!!
  6. The amount of names linked with the Chelsea job is ridiculous. Saw talk of Mark Hughes with Zola as his number 2. That would be a decent wee management team I think.
  7. Whoever takes over at Hearts must be mad. If Romanov stays, they'll be out of business in 5 years.
  8. I'm the same as Gribz with Spain. Always think they are bound to come good. They've left Raul out their squad this time around, after he's had his best season with Real for a few years. Also have a wee soft spot for Romania as I always loved watching Hagi play. Not really gonna have a team, will take it a game at a time.
  9. He's been a fantastic signing and I think he could have done a job next season, although probably mroe as back-up. Need a bit more pace I think for the first choice. And I agree that he would have been fantastic to keep on as a coach - his reading of the game is spectacular.
  10. He's looked good when I've seen him. Better than Broadfoot looked for St Mirren. Another centre half, but only 21. Which means he won't get a game for about 14 years.
  11. Yer all a bunch of Bawbags!!!!!!!!! I'm pissing of to Follow Follow now. :moon: Only kidding, well done to everyone especially Gribz. Keep it going mate, quantity not quality That's right isn't it??? And Fraser as Gribz says to himself as he nails another ladyboy - yer hole's yer hole. An award's an award.
  12. I can see your point as well. I would much rather we were playing one touch, short passing, free flowing football that cut the opposition to shreds but who is gona do that in the players we have. We need goals and I'll take them at the moment any way we can. Which is actually a shout for Adam as like him or not, he can take a bloody good free kick.
  13. Ah, but I doubt Ronaldinho would be the nominated throw in taker though. Broadfoot, unless Barry fancies a long throw into the opposition keepers arms, is on the right wing. It's noy like it's a one-off. It's happened a good few times. I do't think that's why he should be dropped (he should be dropped for being shit) but it should be a fine for every throw in. It is the very basics of the game. Accountancy is your game - if you couldn't add up, your boss wouldn't be pleased.
  14. What like sliding down a greasy pole?:moon:
  15. We allkow there is no chance either of Fleck stsarting or Ferguson being dropped. But with Weir, Broadfoot, Cousin and McCulloch all out that team it limits our aerial threat. I really really want Ferguson punted though. I've had enough of him now.
  16. Exactly it's not as if I have a boss hanging over me. Starting a new job soon anyway, thank Christ!
  17. It always happens - saturday afternoon, watching/listening to the football and I doze off on the couch. Then wake up in time to phne for a Chinese!
  18. In all honesty, the only change to that team is I would get Fergie punted, bring Buffel in behind the striker and play either McCulloch or, just ti be a bit mental John Fleck wide left. Go for broke - if we don't score a shitload the league is lost.
  19. Yeah. I had had a busy week.
  20. I fell asleep and missed most of the 2nd half. Teach me to watch football at work!!!

Totally. I seemed the most sensible option beforehand and in hindsight, it sppears even more farcical not to have opened it up.
  22. I wouldn't mind Elano, Micah Richards and that Croatian centre hald - Corluka I think his name is.
  23. Albert Square was magic!!!

Exactly. We were in Albert Square and there was nowhere to put it. I think that, like music festivals, the decision was made that it would be more sensible to accept it and clean up afterwards. But after the trouble, it's been turned into a big deal.
  25. He always came across as a gentleman - a good winner and a good loser. He had a passion for his club, his country and football in general - qualities I admire. He spoke with honesty, integrity and dignity. Puts last night in perspective. A sad loss at such a young age, RIP Tommy and best wishes to his wife and children.
