A lot of teams start the season with several new players, having lost regulars - that includes tonight's opponents. Injury/fitness wise, the biggest misses are Kent and Morelos but we have a big enough squad to do it without them. Matondo has already shown what a handful he can be and Colak has looked sharp.

He pulled up late on on Saturday. Looked like he went over on his ankle. Hopefully nothing too serious.

I've got quite good at just ignoring a lot of commentary. Occasionally I do notice it and wish I hadn't.

He suffers horribly from the common (amongst UK commentators) 'doesn't know when to shut up' affliction.

Aye, quite a tough time for him. Last thing he needs is us getting on his back. It's okay to criticise a player, if done in a reasonable manner. Unfortunately, we have a fair percentage who just can't help but take it to extremes.

This has been quite a dispiriting performance, so far. Loads of possession but no end product. I'm struggling to stay interested - it's boring.

Losing the league to Celtc was far worse than getting to and losing a European final.

Scottish football is a bit rubbish and that's from the governance right down to the product on the (sometimes plastic) pitch. You'd hope some fresh eyes might help improve things but I'm a cynic and seriously doubt it. There's too much cronyism and negativity involved for anything positive to really occur. I know I should want other Scottish clubs to do well but I just can't find it within myself and do have a wee chuckle when the likes of Motherwell and Kilmarnock get knocked out by foreign diddies - probably a residual thing from 2012.
