We are Rangers. If Gerrard goes, we'll bring in someone else and still be Rangers. I'm unsure why people only think locally when a new manager might be required - there are good coaches all over the globe.

I ended up watching Sportscene last night (wanted to get a better look at Kent and Bacuna's goals) and witnessed another display of amateur dramatics from their Japanese hero. Deary me. What was more bizarre was the way their players and fans celebrated a win over the side currently bottom of the league. And is 'Ange' incapable of looking someone in the eyes - he looks a right shifty sort!?

A born winner might see it more as a sleeping giant and a terrific challenge. Either way, Villa are a big club in a top league, with significant resources. Rangers are big club in a diddy league, who just announced we're really skint. I think Gerrard will want to see this season out at Ibrox but who knows (other than him)...

I'm not getting upset about the Tav/Patterson debate. We have two good right backs - far better than only having one.

I'm a big fan of Morelos. He's capable of making life really difficult for opposition defenders but just isn't doing that at the moment. No idea where his aggression has gone (having a kid, perhaps?).

Barisic had a poor game. Tav wasn't much better. When the full-backs aren't working, we really struggle for ideas. Morelos was as ineffectual as he ever has been tonight. Sakala and Aribo didn't do much either. January will be interesting but I don't think we have the funds to make significant changes.
