  1. If the physio looked like that I suspect we'd see even more injuries!
  2. We're too professional when it comes to general behaviour on the park. It's all part of our overall mentality problem - being nice is no use in a match like this.
  3. I'd send a player out with strict instructions to snap Kyogo in half in the first couple of minutes. I miss the 80s.
  4. I agree but think Clement will persist with the usual tactics. The old saying about the game being won in the middle of the park has always been valid. I just hope Rangers can prove a lot of people (myself included) wrong.
  5. Don't think there'll be the same issue as 32Red (or Dafabet) aren't owned or chaired by club board members.
  6. Remarkably specific there, @Frankie, although there's nothing you say that's remotely surprising, which sums up how frustratingly predictable this fixture has become.
  7. I think it all hinges on the first goal. If they score first, we're done for but if we can get 1-0 up, their hordes will start panicking.
  8. He looked the best of the new recruits, plus he's now been out crocked for a few months, so ticks all the 'Rangers signing' boxes.
  9. So, how are we all feeling about Saturday? I'm swithering between sheer dread and thinking we're surely due a performance at that dump. If we can avoid losing an early goal and gifting them goals, as well as being clinical, we can do it. The problem is, there's plenty of evidence to suggest we're incapable of all of the above. Mon The Rangers! 🟥⬜🟦
  10. No doubt both sets of supporters will find plenty to moan about. Hopefully there's a handball or a foul on one of our players in their box, Collum doesn't give a penalty and then VAR intervenes and it's ultimately given and Tav puts it away. I really like it when that happens and I think that'll make it twelve on the trot, so we've got a dozen from the doyen.
  11. I'm not really interested in what players put on their social media profiles but Cantwell has been a bit of a let down and rarely does anything in big games, so I wouldn't be too fussed if we sell him in the Summer.
  12. Aribo wasn't an all round player. He only really played one position very well. Clement will stick with his usual set up on Saturday, which worries me a bit (I prefer managers to adapt their style to the different types of opposition and it seems weird that we'd set up the same way when we play Ross County at home as we would away to Celtc).

    New kit

Seems likely we'll stick with Castore, as the club are happy with the current arrangement.
  14. Fair enough. Just glad the officials are ultimately making the correct calls.
  15. I don't think they are "missing" them. You obviously do. We have reached an impasse. We got all of those penalties though, that's the main thing.
  16. We got the penalties, so I'm not that bothered about how or why. Correct decision in the end. 🙂
  17. Would you like to back up your claim, based on conjecture, with statistics? You said they should be easy to find, so why haven't you?
  18. I've found this on ESPN - 97 VAR overturns in the EPL. 28 of them penalties. https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/38196464/how-var-decisions-affect-premier-league-club-2023-24
  19. Where would I find these statistics? I am not into stats, in general, so have no idea what websites would provide this sort of information. Rousseau might know - he's into that sort of stuff.
  20. Bit of a stretch. As is happening whenever VAR is used, referees are less inclined to make big decisions because they're fully aware VAR will let them know what the correct decision is. See the offside situation (flag rarely goes up now) for proof of this. When Dessers scored in the first game at Ibrox, the ref gave the goal and then VAR ruled it out - did the Micks and the Masons switch positions that day?
