I've been impressed with the lad, since he joined. Looks a real livewire, thought we missed him when he was out.

Do not buy The Sun - All Phil Mac Gobble Bhoy posts in here
chilledbear replied to simplythebest's topic in Rangers Chat
This is a post from a poster 'pennyblack', taken from FF. Don't know the poster and don't know how true the post. green evicted two sun journos on Sunday Heard that he asked them to leave before security kicked them out the door. Dominic Mohan the suns london boss then contacted green about half an hour later to let him know he had personally dealt with the Mcgobbler situation and they were then allowed back in. -
Impressed with him yesterday, first time he has really stood out. Tho' McCoist has mentioned him rather than McKay.

Anyone know what the score is with his contract? Gunslinger had him away last week, what did you hear mate? We must do all we can to keep him at Ibrox, even if it's just till we can get good money for him in a couple of years. They say Moyes is interested, Everton just paid £200k for a young lad from Killie. I think we should be looking at Killies youth coaches, as Barrie came from them as well.

Amazing attendance with it being on Live TV. When you see shots of the crowd, it looks like there are loads of kids. Good for the future if true.

You will have to do better. Not convincing at all. Don't take this as a black and white, Green or No Green arguement, it's a heartfelt what is happening arguement.

How much is that in Season Ticket money, Investor money, Transfer money? No interest to pay on bank loans. How much does it cost to run the Club?

It's nearly Sunday, a wee bit dicorum please. We are asking what is going to happen to the money, not asking it to be spent.

If you go back and look at attendances, like I can[cough] being an oldster. Timmy attendances usually drop quick, they are more catholic orientated, than football supporters. They have done very well to progress in Europe, that is immense for them. Probably the worse thing that could have happened for the future, looking at it as bear. That in itself might have saved them for a few years.

I would say McCulloch this season, and hopefully Black will step up for next season.

It also shows how you can put a football team together for very little. It will be interesting to see what Green and Ally say in the coming weeks. There is a lot of money floating about, where is it going to end up?
-
And we can't spend anymore money on transfers until 2014.
-
Forgot about these.

How much have the investors put in? How much has ST brought in? How much have we spent?

On the Man City v QPR game, the ESPN commentator said ' There are 45 thousand here to see the English Champions, there will be even more to see Rangers in Scottish Division 3'.

Green said the hunt for players had been held up as both he and manager Ally McCoist had faced Scottish Football Association disciplinary hearings on Thursday. "Alistair and I have, unfortunately, spent six hours in Hampden for the wrong reasons, when what we ought to have been doing is speaking to agents and speaking to players," he said. Green also claimed the club were being hampered in making signings by players who rejected a move to the relaunched Rangers still being included in their squad list with the SFA. A consortium led by Green reformed Rangers after the previous incarnation could not be saved from liquidation but a number of players refused to have their contracts transferred. Rangers are seeking compensation for five of these players. "Ahead of this transfer ban being put in place, we still have the ludicracy of not being able to sign the number of players we'd like to bring in, because the players who walked out on their contract are still included in our quota," added Green. "We're only allowed 22 players over the age of 21, and five of those spaces are being filled by people like Steven Naismith, who played for Everton against Manchester Utd last Monday. How crazy is that?" ww.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19431326

Transfer thread - OFFICIAL!! David Templeton signs 4 year deal
chilledbear replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I think some are getting carried away with the lad. It is added pressure, coupled with his name, which he doesn't need. I think he will be a good signing, but as I said he will be inconsistent. -

Templeton is like all wingers, inconsistent. Even the player he was named after was the same. I'm happy with the signing, but remember no one else was interested. -

After the transfer window, according to what Ally has said. He must be a good 6 players short of what he wanted. Still more to come, loans and free agents. -
