Some just can't handle it. Tom English @TomEnglishSport If it happens, it's a fantastic signing for Rangers but a shocking move for Templeton. He should have his eyes on England not Elgin -

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-19416261 Mr Bonnington writes: "From the Union of 1707 until the present day, Scots law has managed to continue to exist, and sometimes even thrive, as an independent legal system within the UK. Continue reading the main story â?? Start Quote Holyrood has done more harm to Scots law than Westminster managed in over 300 yearsâ? Alistair Bonnington Former law professor, Glasgow University "It is one of the main things which has made Scotland different. Indeed, without Scots law, the claim to have distinct nation status would be absurd." He continued: "It is a paradox and a tragedy that since 1999 huge damage has been done to it by the Scottish Parliament. "Sadly it is not going too far to say that Holyrood has done more harm to Scots law than Westminster managed in over 300 years." He is particularly critical of MSPs passing legislation to make criminal offences which have been illegal under Common Law since the Middle Ages. Examples are the recent enactment of sectarian aggravation of breach of the peace and anti-stalking legislation. "The approach of the Scottish Parliament often seems to be to legislate in accordance with the agenda of tabloid newspapers," he said. "This, instead of creating laws for public benefit."

Rangers Unite Who are they? Who is Shane? Good film right enough.
-
It could if there were enough members, and they attended meetings. I don't understand why those who believe in the aims of the RST, don't join and try and change from within.

If Ally and him are mates [i don't know], then we will be stuck with him.

I'm not a fervent supporter of the RST. But a group calling themselves Rangers Unite, walking away from other Rangers groups sounds perverse.

I don't think Naismith is the first to say this.

I like the way he thinks, and also he is high profile enough for outsiders to read. The only qualification I would put on his thinking, is that he would have his readers believe ALL football fans are threatened by these laws equally. While I would say, the supporters of one Club in particular, are put under more spotlight than any other, and are therefore more prone to be arrested.

All that just depresses me. Why would players at 30 years of age, coming to the end of their career, have the motivation or fight to play in 'Cup Finals' every game?

Rangers Supporters can't agree. Why am I not surprised?

Our European record - conversation moved from other thread
chilledbear replied to simplythebest's topic in Rangers Chat
Very difficult to say whether your record in Europe is good or bad. Timmy won the European Cup beating not much. The best Rangers team in my life time got beat 123456....... by Spurs in Europe. We got put out recently by teams, because it came too early in the season. Now whether that is because of bad planning or just bad tactics is another arguement. I thought apart from the year we beat Leeds, our record in the nineties was disgraceful. WS taking us to the final in his second period was fabulous, I don't agree we didn't participate, we could have won the game with a bit of luck. I mentioned Spurs gubbing us in the early sixties, what a team by the way. But not much later we could and should have beaten Real Mardrid. It's football. -

leggo-CHARLES GREEN'S INVITE TO WALTER SMITH
chilledbear replied to Steve1872's topic in Rangers Chat
'Most supporters I have spoken to will accept and admit that much of the work they see Charles Green has done meets with their approval. And they agree with some of what he has said. But it is a grudging approval, a reluctant agreement and every supporter I have spoken to adds the wordsâ?¦ so far.' I think you could replace the name Green, with any other, and most Rangers Supporters would still be thinking the same. -
Who gave this to the BBC? SFA, Liewell, SPL or Rangers themselves?

What has happened to the Scottish Businessmen? Why not put a couple of million in each.
