  1. Nobody wants every single shareholder. Anonymous ??? After the last few years, no chance, they have come to the wrong Club. I cannot understand why any supporter would tolerate anonymous investors.
  2. No problem with that. I want to know who has the shares in Rangers. Tell me that and it will go a long way to giving me confidence.
  3. HAHA, no more worries then.
  4. owner ownerS owner ownerS Read the post. Green is an employee, what does it matter whether we trust him or not?
  5. I still want to know who owns Rangers. I can't believe all we have been through, we trust unknown owners.
  6. We all have our own ideas on ownership etc. That doesn't detract from the fact we are Rangers Supporters.
  7. No thank you. Completely the wrong way to go.
  8. Another good article.
  9. My timing off again
  10. Frankie - The new players today, can you name names??
  11. Chris McLaughlin ‏@BBCchrismclaug The #SPL are due to pay #SFL their annual £2m settlement fee but say they can't pay unless tv deal is signed. More soon #BBCSport online.
  12. Don't understand why a disagreement between SFL and SPL, would affect us and the SFA.
  13. Hope the SFL tell them to do one.
  14. Chris McLaughlin ‏@BBCchrismclaug #Rangers #SFA membership hinges on #SPL and #SFL coming to an agreement on who gets #RFC media rights. Stand off at the moment. Don't know how true, but it wouldn't surprise me.
  15. How things change. Timmy supporting the establishment!!
  16. Interesting to see how long it will take before it's leaked.
  17. I think a lot of the support are waiting on this happening.
  18. ALLY McCOIST has come out strongly in relation to proposed sanctions against Rangers which are being demanded over the club's membership of the SFA. The manager is unhappy that the SFA released a statement last night when an agreement had not been reached. He contends that a signing ban is not an appropriate action and he has vowed that he will contest vigorously any attempt to strip Rangers of any titles. McCoist had hoped to lead his depleted squad into action in friendlies in the coming days but the lack of SFA membership has prevented him from doing so. The manager said today: "I am extremely disappointed that the SFA chose to release a statement last night when the Club has not actually signed any agreement. "The club is trying to get to a position where we can plan for the season, which starts in only eight days. "We have had meetings with the SFA all week to discuss membership but I had to leave the final meeting as I could not support the sanctions they were trying to impose. "The decision has already been taken to place Rangers in Division 3 and we have accepted that, along with many more punishments. However, operating with an embargo on an already depleted first team squad - even with a window to sign players - will make the task ahead an extremely difficult one. "It is important to remember we have already had a 10 point deduction from the SPL, lost our Champions League place for finishing second last season, had a £160,000 fine, been refused entry to the SPL, been relegated to Division 3 and lost the majority of our first team squad - yet still the governing body has chosen to impose further sanctions. "The transfer ban has been strongly resisted by me, the management team, the Directors and supporters. Indeed The Rangers Fans Fighting Fund appointed a QC to defend the Club's position as the sanction was not available to the Appellate Tribunal. "From a business point of view I can understand the position the Board has been placed in and ultimately they felt they had no choice but to accept some sanctions in order to move forward - as one of the alternatives could have led to the extinction of the Club. "The Rangers fans have been magnificent throughout this entire process and on behalf of everyone at the Club I would like to thank them once again for their loyalty. "I can also assure every Rangers fan I will not be accepting any talk of stripping the Club of titles. That is something we will never accept and everyone at the Club shares this view. "We all need to get back to focusing on football but again my plans have been hampered as we have had to cancel a tour in the Highlands this weekend that would have helped us prepare for the season ahead. "This is still Rangers Football Club and the supporters will continue to back us as they have always done. There will be difficult times ahead but I know with the support of our fans we can emerge stronger and rise to the challenge. "Talks will continue next week and we all hope common sense will prevail to allow us to get back playing football."
  19. Ronnie MacKay ‏@RonnieMacKay McCoist also said: I can also assure every Rangers fan I will not be accepting any talk of stripping the Club of titles.
  20. Whether King is correct or not, Ticketus are not going to just give up on £20m, and there is no chance of them getting from Whyte. Going away for a few days, so behave yourselves.
  21. If the SFA told me everythings ok, I would contact a lawyer.
  22. cont. Whilst the notion that there is a leap of faith to be taken in terms of some of the matters, there can be no leap of faith with something as fundamental as knowing who is being admitted to the league. The very fact that there is no information of any kind being made available on this company undermines the authorities efforts to direct the new entrant to SFL 1. It is actually impossible for any member of the SFL to make an objective assessment of the proposals under Resolutions 1 and 2 and could be seen as irresponsible to support either proposal in such a void of information. It is our hope that some credibility can be introduced to this process and we would ask that whoever holds information on Sevco Scotland Ltd provides a full and detailed pack to David Longmuir in order that even at the eleventh hour the SFL clubs are given reason to support any Resolutions that they might wish to vote on. We have to assume that the SFA and SPL hold such information otherwise they would not press so heavily for entry to SFL 1. If a leap of faith is to be taken, then in the current circumstances it will be taken blindly and the only logical outcome of taking that kind of risk would be to enter them to SFL 3, where, should any subsequent issues arise they will be contained within the lowest league rather than disrupting the top flight of the SFL. The other matter that is entirely outside the gift of the SFL is the need for the SPL clubs to confirm that contrary to what Neil Doncaster stated on their behalf, the SPL will meet its obligations to the SFL under the Settlement Agreement.
  23. OK it doesn't mean that the SFA don't have it, but from the latest statement from Clyde. The Board of Clyde Football Club has received the papers in advance of tomorrows SFL meeting and will consider the Heads of Terms supplied. We continue to have the same fundamental concerns about this process, however the overriding concern is a point which we have made to the SFL. We have received absolutely no information on the organisation Sevco Scotland Ltd whom we are being asked, and encouraged, to vote straight into the top division of the SFL under resolution 2 and possibly into SFL 3 under Resolution 1. We have no business plan, list of directors, details of ownership, statement of capital adequacy or any proposals relating to the provision of any similar information in the near future. David Longmuir has clearly stated that he will distribute all the information he has got or is able to distribute.
  24. If the SFA knew it would have leaked.
  25. If Green wont name whos behind Sevco we might not be playing this season.
