  1. In a way I wish it would happen. Take 15 points away and with a youth team we would be candidates for relegation anyway. Not to mention having to play the tarriers 4 times where we could be hammered. A season in a lower League would give the young players some time and experience.
  2. Pretty sure he'll be back at some time. How could you not want more of the atmosphere and the kudos being an owner of Rangers.
  3. What I could never understand with Kennedy and Murray. They are intelligent men yet right up to their last bid, they have insisted on conditions which they must have known could not be met.
  4. I'm not sure he did anything. â??My mission and aim was only to ensure that Rangers were rescued and spared from going into liquidation. That the clubâ??s history and tradition remained intact. â??From that point of view, itâ??s very much mission accomplished Read more: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4298846/Brian-Kennedy-Hes-best-man-for-job.html#ixzz1tz5qkj9i
  5. The offer is still on the table as far as I can see. Wonder if we will hear from Paul Murray.
  6. Didn't expect that to be honest. Kennedy is going to go from being a hero to a zero in some quarters.
  7. My criticism of the RST/MD was not them giving their support to TBK, but their deflection of any questions of the consortium. The question of fan ownership or representation on the Board, should in my mind be an aim, it should not come before the safety and security of our Club.
  8. It's a bit like the poll 'Are you happy with Bill Miller' No, but at this time there is no one else.
  9. It has become personal. People are anti-trust, when it is really anti MD. But the Trust haven't stepped up to the mark with this. TBKs - good. Everyone else - bad, was silly and transparent to anyone with a mind of their own.
  10. Been posting from the phone sorry if illegible.
  11. I can understand that. But I can't, it is wrong and we will live to regret it.
  12. So how much money is he going to get for a team in the SPL? Where is his profit going to come from? Who told him about a team in the backwater of the SPL?
  13. I feel more pessimistic now, than anytime in the last 3 months. I don't trust Admins or BM.
  14. I would have Paul Murray before Bill Miller anytime of the day. He might not have enough money, but I would trust him before an American who has no feeling for Rangers.
  15. I'll wait till he appears at Ibrox in person and addresses the Supporters.
  16. 3909 obviously has strong views about Mark Dingwall. I tend to think it was a bit hasty within your first few posts, to accuse someone and not give any proof of the accusations. Let's hope he contributes to other subjects and doesn't just dwell on one individual.
  17. Supposedly Kennedy said tonight, they will go with a 'newco' as a last resort.
  18. Douglas Park sitting behind them. http://www.snspix.com/6541903/print/6541903.html
  19. Don't even joke about it.
  20. Second thread I've been on tonight which has gone completely off tangent, come on lads. BTW Kennedy is at Ibrox tonight.
  21. It should be interesting tonight.
  22. I see there may be a problem with the exclusivity money.
  23. Keith Jackson in the Record BILL MILLER is on the brink of pushing through his takeover of Rangers after Brian Kennedy and Paul Murray refused to copy the Americanâ??s newco plan. Record Sport can reveal the ravaged clubâ??s administrators urged Kennedy to adopt Millerâ??s hybrid blueprint which will see the 140-year-old club reborn and possibly banned from Europe for its first three years. But, during late night talks in Manchester on Monday night, Kennedy made it clear neither he nor Murray would be prepared to sanction such a strategy. And now Miller looks set to be handed the keys to Ibrox as soon as he comes up with the £500,000 exclusivity fee required to secure preferred bidder status. Late last night it was still being stressed by sources close to the saga no deal had been completed and that the Murray-Kennedy alliance had not yet been discounted by Duff and Phelps. But Miller has claimed pole position and, if he follows through with his promises to weigh in with a cash deposit, then the stricken clubâ??s future will be in the Americanâ??s hands â?? possibly as soon as today. Joint administrators Paul Clark and David Whitehouse believe it will be easier for any buyer to go newco rather than persuade Craig Whyte to hand over his 85.3 per cent majority holding in the old club. If Whyteâ??s shares canâ??t be secured by the administrators then Kennedy and Murray canâ??t proceed with their own rescue package, which would see the club exit administration through a CVA with its history intact. And last night Whyte was showing no sign of giving up his shares despite his catastrophic 10 months in charge. The administrators insist there are other issues which need to be resolved for the Murray-Kennedy offer to pass a CVA. But Whyte remains a major road block and the administrators have urged Kennedy and Murray to consider going down the newco route in order to simplify an already highly complex situation. But neither of them are prepared to go back on promises they made to fans to fight off any kind of liquidation. And that means trucking tycoon Miller is now in the driving seat. The news that the Kennedy-Blue Knights consortium are refusing to buckle to the pressure to agree to reform Rangers as a fledgling club may surprise manager Ally McCoist who spent yesterday insisting both of the bids on the table involve setting Rangers up as a newco. McCoist said: â??Both potential purchasers have a newco as part of their plan but not liquidation. â??Itâ??s an important point because I think the majority of fans donâ??t want liquidation.â? McCoistâ??s comments caused a great deal of consternation within the Kennedy-Murray camp yesterday. Within an hour they had rushed out a statement which read: â??Following inaccurate media reports, the Blue Knights/Brian Kennedy Consortium wishes to clarify its position. â??Firstly, on Saturday evening, April 28, 2012, we submitted a materially increased offer which will be confirmed by the administrators, Duff & Phelps. â??Secondly, and for the avoidance of doubt, our offer is conditional on a CVA and the delivery of Craig Whyteâ??s shares. If successful, this will retain the SPL membership share in RFC 1899.â? The Murray-Kennedy bid is completely conditional on saving the 1899 company and ensuring it emerges from this crisis as a solvent business. Last night, though, Kennedy, Murray and the rest of their consortium were bracing themselves for the news Miller has won the battle for control
  24. Matt Slater ‏ @mattslaterbbc Today's going to be one of those days in #RFC saga, Miller's Club 9 advisors set to release statement soon. Confidence high there
  25. The way I see it, this could have been done weeks ago. TBK with whoever had no chance, as long as their conditions were attached [CVA agreed and Whytes shares delivered] If they want to win, it is time to do what ever is needed.
