  1. From FF. My understand is that initial actions is currently being taken to have in place an application by one of the larger creditors to replace D&P as administrators. Howes Percival may already be under instruction. The admins have claimed that the CVA is the best outcome for creditors, however as the pot is only £8.5m and with a question over the floating charge, this claim is unlikely to be accurate.
  2. D & P said they saw proof that Green had the money. Someone needs to prove it to the fans, if they want ST money.
  3. Saw this on FF and thought it would be of interest. I have been invited to Bauer media groups forum tonight and would like to gather opinion from fellow rangers fans on the perception of superscoreboard to enlighten the pr people at this event. I could be wrong by thinking that most Rangers fans would rather listen to any other show than this one. This was posted afterwards Format was 6 bears (all from FF I believe). One guy from marketing company - very professional allowed us all an input. 2 guys from Bauer Media who sat at the back and observed taking notes. (one I would say by appearance was from a fairly senior role) Opened with introductions - name, age, occupation and favourite football match. First real chance to fire a few bullets - Blank sheet on a flip pad shout out the first thing that springs to mind regards Super Scoreboard, Not one single positive or even neutral word was uttered. All negative and savaging. Same for Real Radio - Overall feeling from that was more humour and balance but had got worse since McGuire had joined. Radio Scotland - Anti Rangers in the whole but more professional, less humour and Traynor seen as (although an arse at times) as someone who could at times was not afraid to bring balance to a debate - Something completely lacking in Clyde. We then went on to talk about perceived bias at Clyde - The fact that every frontman in the last 10 - 15 years has been significantly Celtic minded and set the tone / agenda. Keevins, Spiers, Guidi et al were given their character in no uncertain terms. The fact that any attempt to bring balance was in the form of ex Rangers bit part players who were not passionate nor strong enough to fight their corner. We covered the shows perceived agenda, the ratio of callers, the condescending and arrogant attitude from certain individuals. The impression that they are shit scared to cross Lawwell, Bad Rangers = discussion where as bad Celtic = Lets talk football. Nothing was left out - way too much to list everything. They played us a few clips - quite honestly I felt this was totally irrelevant to the discussion (probably because the market researcher seriously underestimated the volume of negativity) Time wasted IMHO Finished off with "If you were the MD of Clyde what would you do to change the format if your job depended on it" Various answers all along the same lines that there needs to be a clean sweep - an undeniably strong neutral front man and the caller topic selection needs to change now. They were left in no uncertain terms that teh Rangers support has almost to a man deserted Clyde and they have some serious serious work to do to fix the show and win back potentially 50% of the listening public. The threats of Rangers / Rangers supporters setting up their own broadcast to rival them was more real than ever. The power of Follow Follow (no of posts and members) was reminded as a powerful media tool where opinions are formed. A reminder that Douglas Park (a Blue Knight was their main sponsor - IF they can piss off McGuire from Pheonix Honda they had better be caereful with Mr Park and the opinions of the Rangers support towards Clyde.
  4. Tend to agree andy. Getting more pessimistic as the days go on.
  5. Sorry already been posted Delete please
  6. I feel for the small creditors. We are that consumed by Rangers. sometimes we forget about those that are hurt by it all.
  7. Revealed: the emails which set out the deal between Craig Whyte & Duff & Phelps in the days leading up to administration. Online at midnight This has been on twitter by Mark Daly.
  8. They have taken a loan out for the money in the pot. They have put Ibrox and Murray Park up as security. Green has been looking for money to keep us running. Where is the money the investors have put in? £20m we were told.
  9. I had doubts over the TBKs bid. But to be truthful, they would have my support over Green and his consortium.
  10. The investors don't seem to have put much in so far.
  11. http://local.stv.tv/glasgow/103843-scotland-tonight-rangers-could-face-bigger-sanctions-after-court-win/
  12. They are within their rights, I don't get the problem, either argue with them, ignore them or call them tims [sorry not on RM are we]. Some are dead set against TBK no matter what, they have that right as well. Some don't even rate big Jig !!
  13. Anybody else feel sorry for the Judge?
  14. God expenses as well, money!!!!!
  15. Yes, back to the appeal panel.
  16. Aye we're all at sea.
  17. This loan to be paid back by 2020. What is the interest on the loan?
  18. Assume they are bad - NO Ask questions - YES
  19. I wish Whytes bid had failed. I wish we had questioned him more at the time. You have to wonder at Supporters who will accept anyone. [ not tbk of course] I call it sad times for the Rangers Family [another load of baloney] when we become patsys and a laughing stock.
  20. If Green said he had £20m in the bank, and has struggled to pay £2m for Junes running costs. I think we have every right to question him and the Admin.
  21. We had a few thousand march on Hampden against the SFA. Yet the Admin and Green actually hold the survival of the Club as we know it in their hands, and seem to get off scot free.
  22. I asked the question a while ago, why would investors from Middle/Far East invest in a Scottish Football Club. Perhaps this is what they have been promised.
  23. Noticed this on Twitter from the Record. Rangers preferred bidder Charles Green could rake in £4m from plans to save club May 29 2012 Exclusive by Keith Jackson charles green rangers Image 2 CHARLES GREEN has put himself in line for a potential £4million windfall from his plan to keep the padlock off the front doors of Ibrox. Record Sport can today reveal secret details of Green’s proposals to save Rangers from extinction. The plans have been published in a glossy 24-page presentation to prospective investors. Green claims anyone willing to invest in his rescue mission will double their cash as part of a get-rich-quick scheme. And the document reveals Green also stands to personally pocket a multi-million pound bonus from the deal, despite not laying out a penny of his own money on the takeover. The Yorkshireman is still trying to recruit more financial muscle and hopes to raise as much as £40m from investors. Last week he was scheduled to provide £2.7m – needed, it’s thought, to pay the club’s wage bill until a CVA is accepted in early July – but administrators were left empty handed. However, after a day of talks yesterday, Green delivered enough cash to allow Duff and Phelps to proceed with the proposal to the club’s creditors. Green will be given time to raise the £8.5m required for the CVA pot but he has now convinced Duff and Phelps the cash is there to keep the club in business throughout June. In his confidential ‘Investor Presentation’ Green reveals his plan to buy the club through holding company Sevco 5088. He will then become chief executive and says the club will be floated on the AIM stock market later this year when his group of investors stand to ‘double’ their money. The brochure says: “Founding investors who put up the first £10,000,000 will receive 10,000,000 additional shares at a value of £1 per share on a pro rata basis effectively doubling their contributions.” Green also stands to make a fortune as the brochure reveals he is “being incentivised by 10 per cent of the enlarged share capital of the holding company post completion”. Duff and Phelps confirmed last night the CVA notice will go out this morning but, should that fail, Green outlined his plan B. In the document it is stated “in the very unlikely event a CVA is not agreed by creditors” Sevco will pick up Ibrox and Murray Park at a knock down £5.5m. It also describes ‘advantages’ to a Newco being banned from Europe for three years, including slashing the first-team wage bill from £18m to around £11m.
  24. Perhaps we will have to get used to this. A summer of departures and no arrivals.
  25. 'The shadowy consortium', I love spy thrillers, never thought I would get my fill through supporting Rangers. I know I'm a nobody when it comes to all this, but no owner will get my support until they name all of the consortium. I've had enough of secrets where Rangers are involved.
