  1. Will they ever learn? All the fans groups were taken in by Whyte right up to the end. Now they jump into bed with another group.
  2. I thought things were going too well today. The roller coaster has suddenly taken a lurch.
  3. It doesn't inspire me in the least. I thought things were going too well.
  4. This is the guy, he said this today. Misha Sher ‏ @MishaSher Reply RetweetedRetweet Delete FavoritedFavorite · Close Open Details Absolutely overwhelmed with messages of support. You're amazing fans and great credit to #RFC. I will always be a #Rangers supporter
  5. People say they're not trying. Lots of reasons they don't play well, but I don't want to hear this again.
  6. From March 1st Ticketus, meanwhile, has called for a "rapid and successful conclusion" to Rangers' administration process and says it is willing to hold talks with any potential new owners in a bid to help achieve that goal. The firm paid £24m to secure the right to sell the club's future season tickets, with part of the cash used by the owner Craig Whyte to complete his takeover of the Scottish champions last May. The club's administrators Duff and Phelps confirmed money from the deal was used by Whyte to pay the club's £18m debt to Lloyds Banking Group when he purchased Sir David Murray's majority shareholding. The revelation came several days after Rangers were forced to call in the administrators on 14 February over an unpaid tax bill of £9m accrued during Whyte's tenure. A Ticketus statement said it wants to ensure the ticket purchase agreement entered into with the club is honoured. "Following a meeting yesterday with Rangers Football Club's administrators Duff and Phelps, Ticketus would like to state its desire for a rapid and successful conclusion to the club's administration process and confirm its willingness to enter into discussions with any serious potential bidders for the club. "We met with the administrators yesterday to make it clear that we intend to be part of a solution for the club, and to ensure a fast and fair resolution is achieved for all parties. We outlined that this includes working with potential purchasers to help provide various financing solutions to the club that would be attractive to new owners. "Ticketus believes that the best outcome for Rangers, its fans, Ticketus and our investors is for the administration process to be concluded as soon as possible, with a purchaser found who is able to bring stability to the club. "Ticketus has an obligation to its investors to pursue all avenues to ensure that the ticket purchase agreement it entered into with the club is honoured, and we are committed to going to the lengths necessary to ensure that the future of the club is preserved and its agreement with Ticketus fulfilled. "We believe that our investors' interests are aligned to those looking to safeguard the club's future. "We have already been in contact with a number of other key stakeholders, including potential bidders and fans' representatives, and believe working collaboratively with all parties to create a solution for the club that puts it on a secure financial footing must be everyone's priority. "Ticketus looks forward to continuing to work with the administrators and serious potential bidders to secure a positive outcome for the club."
  7. Did Ticketus not hint at something like this in their last statement.
  8. Trying to safeguard their money, they must be seriously worried.
  9. We Are The People
  10. From Daily Record http://t.co/26lSnWB7 Ticketus emerge as shock backers behind Paul Murray's bid to buy Ibrox club
  11. There is more here from STV. Could become bloody. http://t.co/5Pphzpv0
  12. Just tweeted Things are looking up for the beleaguered Bears. Next weeks big story Ticketus deal collapses. Then Looks a real possibility it will unravel.
  13. I do think if Naismith says he only wants to do what is best for the Club, then last nights' post was if true was saying the opposite. Some fans could take this as seeing Naismith as not as genuine as most of us thought. Not nice for the young man, no matter what the post might have done.
  14. Just watched S Naismith being interviewed this morning on SSN. 'There are a lot of Rangers Supporters in the squad, we only want to do what is best for the Club'. Doesn't sound like someone who would do this. Then two of our highest paid players, both out injured just now, told the Administrators that their wage cut should only be 50% as they couldnâ??t earn win bonuses. This despite picking up their full wages to date while on the sick and not being able to kick a ball in achieving those wins. The Administrators were angered that they were backtracking on the agreement and were ready to make them redundant and implement the agreement among the other players.
  15. Feel a bit better myself with the statements etc. One thing, does anyone else read the statements and interviews from the administrators, and find they sometimes contradict what they have said previously, or each other. I know it's fast moving but sometimes it doesn't make sense.
  16. I was out of touch for most of yesterday. When you come back on it's as if you have been away for a week.
  17. It's like being on a roller coaster.
  18. Is there a good reason why we should believe this? The poster should name his source, after all he has put players names out there.
  19. That tells us nothing.
  20. I don't understand who would buy the club without an agreement with the creditors. HMRC bill to come small and large, Whyte, Ticketus. And still the £1m a month to find to break even. Some of the top earners will have to go if not agreeing reduction in their wages, even if someone comes in.
  21. So far this administration has cost Rangers more than we have saved.
  22. They have not cut any costs, yet talk like this...why?
  23. What is the reason they haven't cut the costs. Surely to save the Club they could let players go and make the savings. Yet they will not do it.
  24. Accelerating the sale, or there will be severe cost cutting.
