Hastie had an amazing start but I notice he has been subbed the last couple of games. McCrorie at Pompey is a disaster so far as he can't break into a losing side. Edit: Ross McCrorie played right back tonight and Portsmouth won 1-0. Got a 7.8 rating on Fotmob, only the keeper got a higher rating. Hopefully a turning point.

I could do that in bygone days of yore. We need quality output as well. That run and shot he had reinforced why I was unexcited about his signing (at that price). I just hope he proves me wrong.

I don't think he does that very often. I'm not saying he should have been booked, I thought the ref was right but Alfredo was pushing it.

To be fair he could have booked Morelos twice before that. Once when he ran back to get involved in some afters and for his goal celebration.

There's a 'love in' because a lot of the fans love him and it's fully understandable that he has been given plenty of leeway. I agree he needs a rest but not sure if the Porto game will be the time to drop him.

Tav has had those chances. He's been pretty poor for most of the season but seems to be second on the team sheet (behind Ojo).

Scottish football...I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth watching. Just 90 minutes (well probably about 50 minutes of actual play) of frustrating dross.

I've been one of his biggest defenders but I don't think he has warranted the amount of game time he's had; particularly as we have other options. Players like Jones and Barker have hardly had a sniff while has had a string of average/poor performances.

Fit as a fiddle for his age. He looks even better than last year.

I'm beginning to suspect that we are committed to playing Ojo. I hope not but it's looking a lot like the Zalalem situation. Ojo may not be quite as useless as him but it's still a situation that a club like Rangers should never be in.

Fatalistic more like. I think we should be pulling out all the stops to get him to stay as long as we possibly can.

Ojo was poor but so was Stewart, albeit with some excuse. You seem to be suggesting he came on and played well; he didn't.

The target changed once we got to the group stages; now it is to qualify for the knock-out stage. If we achieve that, and we still can, the target will change to progressing to the next round. BTW...Stewart was pants when he came on. Several bad passes, running into opponents when there was a simple option, and being unnecessarily offside when we had a good opening.

Was this our first shut-out of the season? We've had plenty of clean sheets but the opposition has usually spurned at least one good chance but I don't think The Sheep got a sniff of goal on Saturday. Their best effort was late on and from 25 yards.

I hope he stays.
