Anyone suspect it could be because some of the first team regulars are on sizeable appearance fees, so the club saves money by not playing them. Admittedly they wouldnt save THAT much but the old cynic in me could easily be persuaded this is, at least, part of the reason. No better time for them to get their first team debuts if we're to lose some valuable players in January plus we could be needing some of these young lads in the SPL at some point in the season anyway. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
