Frankie 8,552
I guess some people will say that people who actually attend matches regularly (e.g. season ticket holders) are supporters while those that simply follow the fortunes of the club from their armchair are fans. It's not as simple as that obviously though.
Bluedell 5,607
How many fans deserve to stay? How many of them do their best for Rangers every time they turn up at Ibrox? Doesn't excuse the players. But I reckon it's a valid point. Do you turn up and support your team (or do you boo after a few minutes because you're not watching 1970 Brazil?)? Don't get me wrong, of course we question the players. But judge yourself by the same high standards. Do you embody everything it is to be a Ranger? Or do you sit on your hands and bitch and moan at the pub? What do you mean by "support your team"? Do I boo? No. Do I sing at Ibrox? Usually not. I work all week, and go to the football to enjoy myself. It's the team's job, so I'm not sure that I should be judging myself by the same high standards. Do I embody everything it is to be a Ranger? Again not sure what you mean here.
Bluedell 5,607
I would class myself as a supporter and a fan. Don't really see much of a difference.

pete 2,499
I'll be honest, I still have no idea what this difference between a supporter and a fan actually is. A supporter supports and a fan blows air.
Bluedell 5,607
A supporter supports and a fan blows air. I still fit into both categories.
elderslieblue 0
Apart from a couple of freebies, I haven't set foot in Ibrox and Rangers haven't had a penny from me in over 3 years now. I still consider myself a Rangers supporter.

Again not sure what you mean here. I would contend that people who are silent or negative at games and then complain players don't give there all at games, players who have less of an emotional tie to the club are hypocrites. Do you everything you can to boost the chance of success of the club, or do you merely turn up to be entertained.
