Doesn't excuse the players. But I reckon it's a valid point. Do you turn up and support your team (or do you boo after a few minutes because you're not watching 1970 Brazil?)? Don't get me wrong, of course we question the players. But judge yourself by the same high standards. Do you embody everything it is to be a Ranger? Or do you sit on your hands and bitch and moan at the pub? What do you mean by "support your team"? Do I boo? No. Do I sing at Ibrox? Usually not. I work all week, and go to the football to enjoy myself. It's the team's job, so I'm not sure that I should be judging myself by the same high standards. Do I embody everything it is to be a Ranger? I would contend that people who are silent or negative at games and then complain players don't give there all at games, players who have less of an emotional tie to the club are hypocrites.
